This is not an argument for the existence of God. This is not a trick to say gotcha. Just curious as to your response. No levity please. Here is the scenario......
You die and all of the sudden you find your self still consciously aware in a spiritual dimension that is foreign to the world in which we live. You are suddenly apprehended by an angelic host and carted off to a courtroom of sorts....You are then seated before a judge (God). God then asks you to plead your case before he makes his decision on your eternal destiny. What would be your response?
Let's say that a God does exist

I found it funny that both the accusation the a personal insult and a personal insult are in the same sentence.

There are many who claim he was banished to Earth to be it's ruler, you don't ascribe to this POV?Herndon wrote:No one knows when he created hell, but most think he created hell when the devil and his angels fell. because after all that's who he created hell for in the first place.southern cross wrote:So he created hell from the get go? Is that your claim? If not then when did he create it and for what reason? So you really think that God one day just got mad at us humans and created a hell for us to burn in? This is what you think concerning the God of the bible?
Well that's an obvious answer: of course not! God didn't get mad at us and then creat hell, that's crazy.

On the otherhand hell was prepared for the devil is biblical.

And herin lies the problem for the non theist. Each and every theist has a different god, bible, belief and explanation. We can run around forever trying to catch you guys but you just pick another thing that you claim to believe. It is funny though. hahahahahahahaHerndon wrote:Who are the many because if it isn't in the bible then no.southern cross wrote:There are many who claim he was banished to Earth to be it's ruler, you don't ascribe to this POV?Herndon wrote:No one knows when he created hell, but most think he created hell when the devil and his angels fell. because after all that's who he created hell for in the first place.southern cross wrote:So he created hell from the get go? God created hell for satan, tick. God is omniscient (I hope) so god knew that when he created hell he was going to send the vast majority of mankind there (I hope). Then why did god create that vast majority? Is he EVIL?

Hahahahahaha! I don't know what christian believes God SENT the devil to the earth to RULE it after he sinned. I don't know any christian who believes this to be true. And if there is they shure can't provide the scripture for it. Better yet they don't need to provide the scripture, the verse, or the chapter for their claims for me to search it out. Just tell me what biblical (book) it's in and I can go search for it myself and I promise you it wont be there. I have read all the biblical books and i have never read of such a doctrine. But most if not all christians agree that hell was meant for the devil is a biblical principle. Why? Because Jesus himself said it.southern cross wrote:And herin lies the problem for the non theist. Back to the OP ...
Were I to die, retain consciousness, and meet the Almighty, here's what I would say.
"Well, I did my best to make your world a better place. If you're going to reward me for that--for following the spirit of what most of the religions on earth espoused, despite the fact that I did not believe you existed and I'd gain no eternal reward for doing so--then I accept the reward with my thanks, and with respect for your judiciousness.
"If you're going to punish me for not believing in you, despite my trying to make the world a better place simply because it's the right thing to do, then" <--and here I stick up the middle finger.
