Give one reason or argument that God doesnt exist
Post #1Try and give one reason philosophically or scientifically that God doesnt exist, but not one emotionally.

No but my arguement states that time itself is not eternal at that it did have a temporal becoming itself. I think a disagrement we have is with our Philoophies of time. You seem to be a B theorist. if not correct me. But just becasue I am at one point in time and somebody else is at another doesnt change what time is at all.
The real question is, does time loop back onto itself, going round and round without beginning or end?
I showed this again to be self defeating.
Apparently God is NOT infinite. Yes, you're clearly choking on your own explanations, aren't you! Infinite density means that matter/energy is compressed to the point that no space exists. Mighty small, but still existent. I described the singularity as a single point event. That is in fact why it is called a singularity.
No what I am saying is that infinites in the universe dont exist. It would be nothing because this singularity is infinitly to a size that doesnt exist. God is infinite becasue he is outside of time which is the measure of the beginning to an end. He doesnt have time therefore no beginning.
But I dont disagree with science I am just disputing the credibility of the scinece that you are proposing.

Nor does it prevent time from existing outside of the observable universe. Anywhere change occurs, time exists. Some 13.7 billion years ago or so before the big bang occurred something changed... and the big bang was the result. Clearly then there was change before the big bang.austin12345 wrote: No but my argument states that time itself is not eternal at that it did have a temporal becoming itself. Once again you are trying to have your cake and eat it too. The universe cannot possibly be uncaused. Therefore God is uncaused. Nothing comes from nothing. Except God. Infinites can not exist. Therefore only God is infinite. At what point do you not recognize that you are simply playing the infinite game here? Whatever meaning infinity has, the God of your conception is greater still, according to you.austin12345 wrote: No what I am saying is that infinites in the universe dont exist. infinites dont exist in the real world.austin12345 wrote: Time though cannot be eternal. The concensus seems to be that time came into existence when the universe came into being. But why cant it be? To say time is eternal is a self defeating argument. If time is eternal than we can never get to this point in time. We cannot traverse infinites and besides there would always be more we would have to travel. Pick any point in teh past and it is the same situation. We could never get to it because there would be an infinite amount of time before that as well. So infact no time would exist because we would never get to any time.
But time does exist therefore it cant be eternal.
Nevertheless this cosmic singularity isnt as you necessarily described. It is a state with infinite density and mass. Its odd that you bring it up because this just shows that the universe began to exist and that it has a cause which are the 2 premesis to the Kalam. Many atheist stray away because they dont want to leave a singularity in their reasoning. As Im sure you have heard that infinites dont exist in the real world. This singularity implies nothing since infinits dont exist. Infine density would continue on till nothingness. (Hard to word on a computer sorry)
In regards to a black hole I have never heard that before. With all respect and kindness not asking you to prove yourself I would like to read alittle more about that if you know any places because I have never heard of a black hole as a singularity.
At face value the black hole couldnt be a singularity because you still have the black hole. It would just trap all the other elements but would itself not be infinitly dense on its outskirts. Also nothing would be able to leave the black hole unless a more powerful being got it out. That would have to be God.
God is infinite

“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

this questions sounds like this to meHow is any of that 'evidence for god'. The reasoning is lacking
how could these footsteps be evidence for existence of living creator (human, alien, animal)
footsteps on planet x

that is exactly what you are saying
When i post to you people natural engine with 40 parts, you ask how could something like that be evidence for a creator.

The problem is you aren't showing us any footprints, you are showing us vague depressions in the sand and calling it footprints. You are showing us random splotches of ink and calling it a painting.ciko wrote: this questions sounds like this to me

Yes, we have a naturalistic mechanism for forming such an engine, how would something that could form natually, be evidence for a creator? When i post to you people natural engine with 40 parts, you ask how could something like that be evidence for a creator.![]()

if so, tell me what is the evolutionary mechanism wich give instructions to ifferent parts of the engine so the parts connect on correct places in the engine?

DNA, which formed because of natural selection after variation.ciko wrote: [Replying to post 77 by Bust Nak]

I told you already: the evolutionary mechanism for getting the instructions in the first place, is reproduction with variation, followed by selection - i.e. evolution. The mechanism for using those instructions to connect parts to correct places is the formation of, and interactions with proteins - i.e. genetics and epigenetics.ciko wrote: [Replying to post 77 by Bust Nak]
