I wouldn't call this that at all, rather I would call it being straight forward and a confirmation of the truth. I do not speak of my own emotions rather I represent what the Quran stands for, this can be found in the Quran as follows:Oh see to me it did sound like you were calling people to repentance but being passively aggressively vengeful and petty...
"We will see on the Day of Judgement those who will be mocked and ridiculed"
QURAN:2:212
"Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account."
QURAN: 6:5
"For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule."
QURAN: 6:10
"And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule."
QURAN: 26:6
"For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule."
QURAN 30:10
"Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, Messengers, etc.) of Allah and made mock of them."
To me, those passages are self justification to ones self for when people question claims that are not believable. Then, the believer can point back and be smug and say 'See, it was right, they will be mockers'
What the believer can't do is show that the claims were right to begin with.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Goat, Goat, Goat, you ask and I will answer. What claims?? The verses are very straight forward the attitude and belief of those from the past where not much different from the mockery we are witness to today. To me, those passages are self justification to ones self for when people question claims that are not believable. I don't think there is a set number of times Satan whispers to a person a day according to my knowledge. When we say Satan whispers to a person this does not mean you hear Satan speaking to you, what it means is Satan misguides people by casting doubts and whispers into their hearts. For example getting an evil thought of some kind. Satan only whispers to people of faith, as for non-Muslims, he comes to him however he wants and does not limit himself to whispers, rather he toys with him however he wishes. You can say as you wish about Islam it only shows your ignorance and disbelief. We will see on the Day of Judgement those who mocked and ridiculed the believers and where they will stand, when their record is brought forth by their Lord. When the disbelievers will wish that they had followed the path of righteousness and had not been neglectful in this world and when they wish they could be sent back to follow what was prescribed for them. You only get one chance.Just for clarification, how many times a day does satan whisper in your shell like? Is it only "believers" that he tempts or should I hear him as well? I've recently had tests and my hearing is perfect, my eyesight not so much. So given that my hearing is perfect and I have never heard this satan speaking to me, how would you defend your position?
Is satan tempting you with the unrighteous and obscene promise of unlimited sexual activity if you refrain from that behaviour on earth?
It would seem that satan has created your religion in order that the gullible will follow satan.
I know that you will deny this so I brought a quote from you in the 72virgins thread.
Quote:
One of the best things that people long for in the Hereafter is, for men, the women of Paradise

I mean ya just gotta love the "doctrine of the bogeyman". Are these the stories you use to frighten small children? If you reinforce them for long enough and often enough you will have even some adults believing them.HaLi8993 wrote: Jessehove

A number of Muslims in the past have come here, and expressed the literal acceptance the Djinn exist. Do you do so?

Why isn't it obvious to you that the only reason you believe this about the Koran is that this is what you have been taught to believe? You have no objective reason for doing so.HaLi8993 wrote:
Yes, Jesse if you mean that Muslims apply the true meaning of the word. We Muslims do consider every word in the sacred texts as literal truth. So we are fundamentalists. This is not the case with Christians nor Atheists. Glad to be a fundamentalist!!
I have always found fundamentalism to be a position of weakness. It is usually embraced by people who are profoundly fearful of uncertainty.

Nope not at all, as I have answered your question, but you have seemed to have not answered mine. This was the question:Quote:

Not sure! Why are you telling me this??I mean ya just gotta love the "doctrine of the bogeyman". Are these the stories you use to frighten small children? If you reinforce them for long enough and often enough you will have even some adults believing them. Oh silly me why am I telling you this.

Well it depends what you mean by literal, if you mean they exist then yes they do. If you mean that we can see them, then no.A number of Muslims in the past have come here, and expressed the literal acceptance the Djinn exist. Do you do so?

kaykc
It's a good thing there isn't any uncertainty in our lives then lol, especially when God gives us all the answers to life, our purpose and the reason for our creation.
I would say this about the Atheist also, hence the reason they have developed something to supposedly answer the questions they cannot answer and are void with purpose or meaning in their lives, giving them a sense of belonging, hence the reason for the development of such theories to counter attack this problem.
Who taught me kaykc?? Was I brought up this way?? Certainly Not!! I searched for the truth and became a practicing Muslim. Why isn't it obvious to you that the only reason you believe this about the Koran is that this is what you have been taught to believe? You have no objective reason for doing so.
