What the world needs now
Is love sweet love
It's the only thing
That there's just to little of.
No not just for some
But for everyone

What do you mean by 'God's word'? Do you mean the word 'FROM' god, or the word 'about god'?? Those are very distinct different concepts, but both can be boiled down to 'God's word'.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Post #4I think “God’s word means that it is message from God. God may not have said things directly in it, but it tells God’s will and gives opportunity to know God. And I come to that conclusion by reading it, not because someone has said so.Joab wrote: WHO determined the bible to be god's word?

Post #5That definition would be determined by those who claim it, not I.

Why, we did, of course. Who else would have?
Even to the most devout believer, I've never heard it claimed that God himself penned the books. The closest you get in that regard is that the authors were directly inspired by God, though even that isn't always the case from one person to another.
We, humanity, wrote the words, compiled the texts, and attempted to structure how the anthology should be viewed and used. Not sure it worked out quite as we intended in the end, but it seems inescapable to me that we are responsible for it from start to finish, regarding the determination your after.
If you're looking for the name of a person, or people, the list would be very long and impossible to prove. But it would be, in the end, people. Just like you and I. And possibly for reasons just as human as you or I might like to convince anyone of, well... anything.
it's basically understood
Post #8when Jesus prayed to his father in John 17 .... he also prayed for future believers (us) .. who would believe because of the words of his (sent out) Apostles . . . the New Testament is / are the collected letters of those Apostles .. the early believers gathered to study their message and doctrine as we do today . . . no need to go any further than the book . . . the faith has been ONCE delivered to the Saints (believers) and we are COMPLETE in Him ..... http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=146#p146 . . . come and learn unto belief

That's an easy one. The guys who wrote the Bible determined what God said; and you can take that to the bank!
