.
In thread after thread Korah claims to have identified seven written eyewitness accounts in the bible. After repeated requests for substantiation / verification of that claim the response is repeated reference to what he wrote earlier. Lately it appears that the claim has been softened to "writings that MIGHT be eyewitness accounts."
Here, after many fruitless threads, perhaps we will learn about at least ONE of the accounts that is from an actual eyewitness (who can be shown to have observed what was written by him) – not a "might have."
This is not asking for conjecture or opinion, but for some solid indication that there is at least one account that can be credited to an actual witness.
Kindly debate the issue in THIS thread rather than referencing other threads.
Is there even ONE written eyewitness account in the bible?

Couple of bibles I read mention it in the first page that the people John, Luke, Matthew and all that were not the original author. The actual author of the bible is unknown. The bible itself was written years after death of Jesus.

Post #12Not technically true. The Bible was not compiled as the single book as we know it until several decades after Jesus' death. The part of the Bible known as the Old Testament was written, compiled and translated into Greek from Hebrew prior to Jesus' birth.jerryxplu wrote: [Replying to post 1 by Zzyzx]

However, none of the books of the New Testament were written until decades after Jesus' death and certainly not compiled as a collection until well after a century after his death.
It is not so much that the actual author of the Bible is unknown, but that the authors of many of the parts of the Bible are unknown.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

What I was saying is that the actual book of Luke, John, Matthew was not actually by the disciple Luke, John, Matthew. It is pretty common concept in that time really to give authorship to other people. Point is, we don't really know who actually wrote the bible not like they actually said oh I wrote it. Still, would be nice if Jesus just come back and make a new new testament. Bible 3.0
