The argument proposed is that many well known Young Earth Creationists employ questionable tactics to argue their point of view.

Example #1, Ray Comfort:
In November 2009, Comfort released an edited and abridged version of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species, with a 50-page foreword detailing creationist arguments against the theory of evolution.[22] Stan Guffey, a biologist at the University of Tennessee, has alleged that most of Comfort's section on Darwin's life was plagiarised from his work.[23][24] The book was given away for free at selected schools around the United States.[25]
According to Comfort's website, "nothing has been removed from Darwin's original work",[26] but Eugenie C. Scott, executive director of the National Center for Science Education, noted that Comfort deleted four chapters by Darwin that described the evidence for evolution, adding that two of the omitted chapters, Chapters 11 and 12, showcased biogeography, some of Darwin's strongest evidence for evolution.[27] She wrote that Comfort's foreword is "a hopeless mess of long-ago-refuted creationist arguments, teeming with misinformation about the science of evolution, populated by legions of strawmen, and exhibiting what can be charitably described as muddled thinking."

Comfort has since admitted he deleted chapters of On the Origin of Species.

There is no honest argument for YEC.

Questionable tactics are the only option available to them.

And as you have already posted many of their claims against evolution have long since been debunked, yet they keep publishing them like as if they still have merit.

YEC actually requires dishonesty to be supported. There is no honest way to support YEC. It has been thoroughly debunked by science. It simply has no scientific credibility whatsoever.

There is another view.
YEC is the only scenario that actually fits the bible narrative. There is nothing inconsistent about saying 'This is the word of God. It cannot be wrong. Therefore anything that appears to contradict it is wrong, or has been misunderstood.'
This line, though daft, is at least self consistent.
It is the people who claim to accept the evidence of science, and still insist that the bible is 'the word of god' who are being disingenuous.

The argument proposed is that at least one well known Young Earth Creationist may have employed questionable tactics to argue their point of view.
There -- now that I've fixed your premise for you -- conceded.

Counter argument:

It is proposed that the tactics of disinformation, lying, and the dismissal of evidence contrary to it are de rigueur in the promotion of the absurd fable and religious belief system, masqueraded as legitimate science, that asserts that microbes morphed into men.

Example #2

Ken Ham, in a new radio spot, out and out admits evolution is science and Creationism is faith. He aint gonna find scientific evidence of Creationism.

Creationist radio ad: Evolution cannot be debunked with reason | The Raw Story.

You cannot convince people that evolution is false with logic, according to the founder of the Creation Museum in Kentucky.

In a 60-second radio ad released Thursday, Answers in Genesis President Ken Ham admitted there was no scientific evidence that conclusively demonstrated that evolution was a lie.

But that didnt mean there wasnt solid evidence that evolution was a lie. The solid evidence just wasnt scientific.

We have solid proof in in our hands that evolution is a lie: the Bible, Ham explained. You see, we cant depend solely on our reasoning ability to convince skeptics. We present the evidence and do the best we can to convince people the truth of God by always pointing them to the Bible.

His "evidence" is his interpretation of the Bible, not scientific evidence. But this does not stop him from claiming he has "proof."

Rewriting a quote from a poster, and passing it off as his is another example of questionable YEC tactics.

Secondly, who proposes "microbes morphing into man?"

Here we go again. Eric Hovind would be proud.

Exhibit #3, YEC promoter Kent Hovind
Hovind is sitting in Federal prison for fraud. His 'professional' life is a fraud.

Kent Hovind Lie #1: Dr. Hovind taught science for 15 years. " Eric Hovind.

Truth: Hovind helped start several Christian schools and then appointed himself science teacher. He has no credentials that would allow him to teach in public schools.

http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Kent_Hovi ... _Affidavit

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/credentials.html

Kent Hovind Lie #2: Then he got his Ph.D in education. " Eric Hovind.

Truth: Kent Hovind has a Ph.D in Christian education from a non-accredited diploma mill. His thesis makes numerous factual errors and is riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes. Unlike an actual Ph.D thesis no original research is presented.

Kent Hovind Lie #3: Im going to try and convert you to my belief system. You dont want to use lies to accomplish that. " Kent Hovind.

Truth: Hovind knows what he is teaching is false. He has been corrected multiple times and has been known to use outright lies and falsehoods in his presentations.

See
http://thecreationistatheist.blogspot.c ... books.html
for the videos where he presents his false claims.

He's even lied about the Federal case against him:
http://www.pnj.com/story/news/2014/11/0 ... /18730293/

Now that he is in prison, his son is carrying on the nonsense for him.

Kent Hovind (a.k.a. Dr. Dino) is a well-known young-Earth creationist speaker. He is in federal prison, having served two years of a ten-year federal conviction for tax evasion. His reasoning for not paying taxes was that it was all Gods money, not his, and was therefore non-taxable. He paid his employees with cash, and then said they werent really employees, but that they were servants of God. Hmmmm. I wonder if he ever read how Jesus responded to paying taxes to the evil Romans? (Matthew 22:15-21). Or what Paul had to say about paying taxes, again to the Romans? (Romans 13:6-7). If Paul could advocate payment of taxes to Nero, I think Hovind cant excuse himself from paying taxes to the US government.

Earlier this month he and his wife (who was also convicted) lost an appeal, so it looks like hell stay in jail, and shell go to jail. His supporters have a petition that they are sending to the White House, trying to get Hovind and his wife last-minute pardons from President Bush, but it looks like that wont happen either.

I have nothing personally against Hovind, and some say that the 10-year sentence was unusually harsh. But his scientific reasoning is even screwier than his legal reasoning. Hovinds young-Earth creation organization, Creation Science Evangelism, continues to function, with Hovinds son, Eric, giving talks at churches and Christian schools. Kent Hovind blogs from prison.
