What happens to those who do not follow the law?
Post #1What happens to Jews and non-Jews who did not follow the law after their physical body dies?
If it turns out there are one or more gods, then so be it.
If it turns out there are no gods, then thank reality that no one is going to suffer forever.

Post #3Eh, im well aware of that story. I was looking for support from Tanakh, not the New Testament...Talishi wrote:"Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." There is no one "Jewish view" on this.
My personal view: the same thing happens to both: they cease to exist.
Judaism, overall, is far more concerned with this life than it is with any hereafter that may or may not exist.
