JW's: Jesus is omniscient (Revelation 2:23 cf. Hebrews 4:13)

1. Hebrews 4:13 is cited in demonstrating the omniscience of Jehovah.
Insight on the Scriptures: Of Jehovahs omniscience and his purpose to exercise justice toward all, the apostle Paul wrote: There is not a creation that is not manifest to his sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him with whom we have an accounting. (Heb 4:13; 2Ch 16:9; Ps 66:7; Pr 15:3) (Volume 1, Eye, 5th paragraph)

2. This same knowledge (omniscience) is applied to the Lord Jesus.
The Watchtower: By way of contrast, however, Jehovah God is described as the examiner of hearts. (Proverbs 17:3; 1 Samuel 16:7; 1 Chronicles 29:17) There is not a creation that is not manifest to his [Jehovahs] sight, declares Hebrews 4:13, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him with whom we have an accounting. Not surprisingly, Jehovah has granted the ability to examine hearts to his Son, Jesus. The resurrected Jesus declared: I am he who searches the kidneys and hearts, and I will give to you individually according to your deeds."Revelation 2:23. (Questions from Readers, June 15, 2003).

Questions
1. Why do Jehovah's Witnesses deny the Lord Jesus is God even though they cite Hebrews 4:13 in reference to God's "omniscience" to which the Lord Jesus also possesses?
2. If they still do not believe Jesus is God doesn't the fact that they have 2 distinct beings who are omniscient demonstrate that they are polytheists?

Faber wrote:" Jehovah has granted the ability to examine hearts to his Son, Jesus."

If one needs to be "granted" or given power or ability to knows something one cannot logically be omniscient. Neither the word, nor the notion of omniscience is ever used in connection with Jesus in any Jehovah's Witness literature.

Logic,

I have explained the Jehovah's Witness position earlier, perhaps you missed it. I will provide you with a link below.

The knowledge of Hebrews 4:13 (in which the JW's even use the word "omniscient") is applied to the Lord Jesus.

You affirm that the Lord Jesus was "granted" this knowledge. This would that there are 2 distinct beings who are omniscient.
Perhaps you missed it but see #2 in the OP.

Really?

As I said, you will never see omniscience attributed to anyone but JEHOVAH. That Jehovah has granted his son abilities or powers (in this case the ability to read hearts) should not be confused with granting omniscience. Giving someone something should not be confused with giving someone everything.

The knowledge described in Hebrews 4:13 is "omniscience" which is then applied to the Lord Jesus.

Matthew 24:36New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

36 But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

So even Jesus agrees that he isn't omniscient! ;)

First, you ignored the point that the JW's applied omniscience unto the Lord Jesus.
Second, Matthew 24:36 does not teach what you affirm. The Lord Jesus only spoke the words the Father told Him to say (John 12:49-50; 15:15). It was only the words that the Father gave Him to speak morning by morning (Isaiah 50:4) are what He testified to (John 3:32). The precise timing of His return was not revealed to Him by the Father to speak that particular morning. Thus He could not testify to it.
