Paradise on Earth

When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?

If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.

We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

You failed to address how a post previous to mine addressed one that followed it. Given that you never addressed this, you did indeed ignore my response.

I told you that I had ALREADY covered your thoughts in a post previous to yours, and if you would go back and read it you would see that I had addressed your particular concern. You refuse to do this.

Good evening people all over the world. We just had a nice Nor-easter here in New England, USA, with a snow-fall here of over 24 inches in CT. It's absolutely beautiful. The snow was so fluffy that it was like shoveling feathers.

It will be nice, though, in Paradise, when weather isn't as extreme as we have now. The Scriptures say that we'll have the seasons, but of course it won't be so hard for us, dealing with severe cold or heat.

Stay warm up there. We have the cold but keep dodging the snow. I currently live in God's country. (Shenandoah valley) Problem is all these heathens like it here too.

I wouldn't let that worry you. If you are bound for an eternal paradise, certainly you can muster the patience needed to put up with those who think differently than you for such a short time. They'll soon experience total annihilation and never trouble you again.

LOL! I think the heathens are everywhere! Hang in there, it'll all be over soon and we can lounge beside our sparkling swimming holes with our Mai Tais and Margaritas. Meaning when Jesus is ruling.

I've read the bible many, many times and I've never once read that paradise would include drunken episodes with Jesus. It's quite a surprise to hear that alcoholics will reign in the kingdom to come. Praise rum, tequila, oh... and Jesus too.

My comment was in Jest. Alcoholics, no. But, I would remind you of this quote:

"John came neither eating nor drinking and they said he had a devil. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children."
