Jehovah is NOT God

We've read of Yahweh in the OT. My own view is that he seems to be a fabrication

I take the affirmative debate position that Jehovah is NOT God.

I will elaborate in due course.

I invite support for the negative.

(Preferably without the usual dodges.)

Jehovah predicted that there would be people who claim that he's not God.

You just claimed that he's not God.

Therefore the prophecy is true!

Thus Jehovah is God!

Jehovah is Yahweh is Jove is Dispater is Deus is Zeus is Dios is Dieux is Dio is Jupiter is Zeus-Amon is Amon-Ra is Zeus-Tinia is Zeus-Danann and so on.

All are the same occasionally all powerful deities. They can't all be wrong, can they?

Not one person of faith has stepped forward to declare and demonstrate that the biblical Jehovah IS God.

But debates have gone on here as though it IS true.

Are people of faith just PRETENDING that's it's true ...

And they know that Jehovah is as false as any other ethnic deity ...?

Jehovah is NOT God, because the idea of God entered the minds of humans thousands - perhaps hundreds of thousands - of years before any recorded instance of Jehovah entering the minds of humans.

If Jehovah was God, there would always have been Jehovah.

To call the biblical Jehovah "God" is false.

The name Yahweh was not revealed for thousands of years. That does not mean that the God Yahweh did not exist.

By the logic of this thread, a newborn baby does not exist until his parents name him.
