ALL Scripture is inspired of God. These words at 2 Timothy 3:16 identify God, whose name is Jehovah, as the Author and Inspirer of the Holy Scriptures.

Whoever it was that wrote 2 Timothy 3:16 has made this claim.
How may we objectively determine that they are telling the truth?
How may we objectively determine what constitutes Jehovah-inspired "scripture"?
Are the biblical writings the word of a god?

As pointed out earlier, if it was the case, there would be no reason at all why Jesus, - let alone all the NT authors - would not have simply and clearly referred to their GOD as "Jehovah". If it was Jehovah they were speaking of, why then did they just not refer to that GOD by that name?
Paul made claims about many things. Obviously being a traditional Jew doesn't mean anything which shows the reader that when Jesus referred to GOD as "The Father", that he was meaning "The 'Lord' of The Jews".
It is not possible for individuate consciousnesses to determine the truth about anything of such nature, in an objective manner, even if many altogether agree to believe in faith that it is 'the truth', it is still subjective determination, and as such, not necessarily the actual truth.I think it's a safe assumption, don't you?
The point I have been making is that the GOD was not identified. But who else would it be? Zeus? Baal? Pan? Gaia? Mother Earth? Osiris? Diana?

Is it 'Abrahamic tradition' to go around murdering folk you don't agree with? The writer of Timothy was presumably Paul. And Paul, for all his faults, fallibility and theological error, was primarily a man in the Abrahamic tradition, a Jew.

Post #22Certain humans behave as though it has been established that the biblical writings ARE the "Word of God".
Yet, as we can see here, it comes down to nothing more than BELIEVING they are.
This Atheist considers it reasonable to expect a modicum of good hard evidence.
"God" … just whatever humans imagine it to be.
"Scripture" … just whatever humans write it to be.
"Scripture" … just whatever humans write it to be.
