How does one determine the one true God?

How does a person determine the one, true God? Yes, assuming there is one true God, which God or version of God best qualifies, and why?
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

I have determined it by thinking what would I be ready to keep as my God. And I have come to conclusion, He must be greater than some animal, me or my neighbor. Bible God is the only one that I am willing to keep as my good, because he is wise, knowing, good, righteous, truthful and because of what is said in the Bible, I believe He has created this world.
