WHY would anyone believe (or even say) this in the 21st Century?

It is incredible what some people believe. However if a demon was to spirit that ghastly man Trump away so he was never seen again, it would be good for the US and the whole planet, as that man is a dangerous clown.

Presumably because people have a propensity to believe what they want to believe, rather than what they can justify believing.
