The 144,000 in JW theology

My understanding only 144,000 JWs go to heaven in total over the sum of human history.

Is that correct?

There are 9 million JWs worldwide (rounded up).

Will the vast majority of them not go to heaven and be annihilated? What happens to the JWs that don't make the 144, 000?

I'm not God so I am in no position to name names. However scriptures indicate faithful men and women of old may well figure amongst those who will have such a priviledge: Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Daniel , ... (compare Her 12:1) Naturally we are not presently at the end of "forever", so de can only speculate as to whether they will indeed live that long. But if they remain faithful there is no reason to believe God will not keep His promises in their regard.

There is no end of forever.

The faithful men and women of old all sinned under the Old Testament Covenant, under which the wages of sin was death. And they had no Savior back then.

God's promise is everlasting life. If God promised us everlasting life, it is not something we were born with -- "conditional" or otherwise. We are not born with our reward.

Satan is indestructible, having been created as a spiritual bodied being. His fate is to be tormented day and night forever in the lake of fire. He is the only being said to suffer that consequence. The fire will not harm him, as he is a spiritual being:

So Satan's not a valid example for you to use, as the scriptures prove you to be incorrect.

There were originally two differences between man and the angels -- knowledge of good and evil and body type -- natural versus spiritual.

In his letter to the Christians at Corinth, Paul wrote:
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

And after reading all of Paul's biblical writings, I'm fairly certain that Paul suffered from some form of compulsive behavior.

But that would make sense because God intentionally selects weaklings for his most important assignments.

Paul made a great discovery which is today part of all twelve step rehabilitation programs. That discovery was that he was not sufficiently powerful to stop the behavior on his own. He needed help from a higher authority!

So what happens to "death" which is also thrown into the lake of fire along with Satan?
