Post by Capbook »

Is the Lord's Sabbath in the OT still for God's people in the NT?

Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment

Capbook,
re: "Do that mean that there's no Ten Commandments at all?"

That would seem to be the case based on onewithhim's comment. How do you understand his comment?

I have explained to him that the Law was not made obsolete on my Post#303.

Where on OnewithHim Post#304 agreed by saying, "That is a point that I have been trying to make as well."

I believe OnewithHim understands that God made no changes to the Law, only the placement thereof, from the two tablets of stone to the two tablets of heart.

If one is holy to the Lord, is it also holy to man?

Isa 58:13  "If because of the sabbath, you turn your foot From doing your own pleasure on My holy day, And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word,
