How to praise a member's post:

- Next to the user's post that you like, click on "MPG Donation".
- Enter how many tokens you'd like to donate and enter a comment on that particular post. It'll then send a PM to that user and also automatically post in this thread the message you entered.

Judging by how much MPG activity there has been, I think I'm going to have to write some code to automatically compute the totals. This one will take some time to do.

And btw, why do people call me "osteng"? :-k :confused2: But, no worries, I've been called much worse...

And btw, why do people call me "osteng"?
"Osteng" is easier to say therefore easier to remember & easier to write. I write vocal music and one thing I must be mindful of in lyrics is how one word connects to the next so you don't create tongue twisters for your vocalist. "O" to "S" is easier than "T" to "S" because of the way the words form in your mouth. If there was a vowel between the "T" and "S" then it would work fine like: "Tossing"
Other than that, it could be that people simply see what they want to see & what they expect to see. Once "Osteng" becomes a part of their traditions, rituals and belief systems, you become Osteng whether you like it or not. You are then formed into OUR own image - which in this case is a 6'6" white guy with a long beard and a Popeye tattoo. Once you are cast into that mold, you have no choice but to roll with it.....in your mind and the hearts and minds of everyone around you, you become a 6'6" white dude with a long, white beard named Osteng.
And then we write a really long book full of poetry about you and in return you tell us we will live forever.

5 tokens for us finally agreeing on SOMETHING! Lets celebrate!
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

For yet another interesting thread idea.
