Wanted to say hi

A little about myself:
I was raised a Baptist and latter became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. After many years of disillusionment I had fallen away from God all together and gave up on religion.
A little over a year ago, I found the Urantia book. It answered so many questions that the religions I had bean involved in could not answer for me.
So, make a long story short, I found my way back to God threw my studies of the Urantia Book. I have since given up many prejudice beliefs that I once had.
I hope to find acceptance on this forum and God Bless.
Paul

That's refreshing. I have seldom encountered Urantia book readers who have that ability.

I resemble that remark!

Howdy Workman! Good to see you here. These guys are two quality people. They don't believe in God as far as I know. But if you're like me you'll see God in their hearts. I would trust either one of these two with my life. That's how much confidence I have in the strenght of their characters and beings.

Well I better stop proving Mac right about me being long winded. The thing is I'm that way with or without The Urantia Book.

Anyway blessings to you Workman and if you ever want to bounce any TUB stuff off me, I'm available.

And good will to you my friends McCulloch and Once Convinced. Always a pleasure seeing you guys. Go Maple Leafs and Go Blacks! :D
Hi Joer. Good to see you too and thanks for your kind words. Don't mention the "All Blacks!" They are still in my bad books (and just about every other NZ rugby fan's) for choking during their World Cup Quarter Final Match.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Hey Once, I saw Russell Crowe on a late night show here. And he coached a College Rugby team here. And they lost a lot. He said the biggest difference between here and there is that here when they Lose the still get support. But there when you lose everybody hates.

Your making me believe him brother. Man your team makes it to the top four teams in the world, and everybody home wants to hang them out to dry!

I guess it' like here Fans really RAG on there own team but they don't let anyone else say anything bad about them. :D

Good to see you, and Confused and Osteng, and Fallibleone, Mac again. O:) Yeap you got some keepers here Workman these are all good ones. :D But when you meet them on the discussion floor they'll take you to the mat. So make sure you got your good wrestling shoes on.

Yeah, I guess it's true. lol. But when your team thrashes everyone else the rest of the time, but bombs out in the world cup sudden death matches every single time, it's no wonder!

Yeah, that's gotta be true too. But you know when our teams play we're always right behind them.
