Intro: passionate

Greetings every one; my friends call me Jesse and I am a 33 year old nun.
Most of my life I have spent it in an orphanage where I have developed a passion for Christ. I enjoy reading very much as I read the holy bible daily I also enjoy history books, I find history as a prediction to the future.

The reason I join forums like these is to help spread the word of our lord Jesus Christ who have died for our sins and saved us from eternal hell fire (which is the pillar of the catholic faith). Also I hope to defend the holy church from those who attempt to dissolute its reputation or subjects. My only concern is prejudice, Jesus Christ have taught us to love every one even our enemies as our lord says in a translated parallel '' But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you'' Matthew 5:44.
This life is about seeking and finding peace in both this life and the next, this peace can only come through the truth which is given to us by the lord.
And god bless you all!

A very close friend of ours is in the Order of Poor Ladies (the Poor Clares). Her genuine compassion is a great blessing for everyone who knows her.

Welcome Passionate! I can't say I've ever come across a Nun on the Internet (Not that I've known about anyway). Great to have you with us and it will be good to see your opinion on various issues.
