Today, June 20th 2009, is the eighth anniversary of the sacrifice Andrea Yates made for her children. Had she not murdered them, Noah would be 15 years old, John would be 13, Paul 11, Luke 10, and Mary would be 8. Instead, they were murdered by their mother so they would go immediately to live with God eternally in the paradise of heaven, thus avoiding the possibility of eternal torment in hellfire.
Is this a victory for Christianity?
Happy Anniversary?

PCE Theology as I see it...
We had an existence with a free will in Sheol before the creation of the physical universe. Here we chose to be able to become holy or to be eternally evil in YHWH's sight. Then the physical universe was created and all sinners were sent to earth.
This theology debunks the need to base Christianity upon the blasphemy of creating us in Adam's sin.

GOD is love does not force the meaning that HE MUST love those who have chosen to be HIS eternal and perpetual enemies and give them eternal access to HIS family: a little leaven (sin) leavens (corrupts) the whole lump so eternally evil members of HIS creation must be banished from HIS reality or have it destroyed.myth-one.com wrote:Ask that poster to defend the statement that "God is Love" with the concept of everlasting torture in hellfire.

It seems to be the Abranite Jews and Muslims who like this particular idea of GOD and apply it in the real world in relation to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Two evils going for it.
However, one of the Abranite holy books state that Jesus said that his Father showed him things and told him things to tell others, and one of those things Jesus told others was to 'love your enemy' so if your GOD hates his enemies then your GOD cannot be the same GOD as Jesus' Father.
Also you claim that these enemies are eternal and perpetual and not his 'family' because they do not recognize him as their creator.
Many do this because his behavior is questionable. But 'family' shouldn't question? Family should obey?
It is really important and sensible to question things which are obviously very iffy rather than to simply accept them because one believes that not accepting them will result in one having to suffer an eternity in hell because one was not behaving as Family should behave.

Ask that poster to defend the statement that "God is Love" with the concept of everlasting torture in hellfire.

And now you have to defend "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven" with the concept of not loving your enemies. Barring them in heaven is one thing, but not loving them?ttruscott wrote: GOD is love does not force the meaning that HE MUST love those who have chosen to be HIS eternal and perpetual enemies...

Loving them the best we can is the way we are to treat them.Bust Nak wrote:And now you have to defend "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven" with the concept of not loving your enemies. Hating them is the willingness to shut the gates of hell upon them.

We? I was asking about God. You said it is not the case that God MUST love his enemies, does God still love them despite that?ttruscott wrote: Loving them the best we can is the way we are to treat them.
Here is a better idea for loving them, shut the gate of hell before they get anywhere close to going through it.Hating them is the willingness to shut the gates of hell upon them.

Matt 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. says HE does.
Better for who? Sin corrupts and the end of unchecked sin is total corruption. Here is a better idea for loving them, shut the gate of hell before they get anywhere close to going through it.Hating them is the willingness to shut the gates of hell upon them.
Are you offering to allow Satan in all his complete psychotic degredation to live in your house with your family to save him from being sent to hell? This is the precise lesson the sinful good seed live here with the eternally evil ones to learn: the eternally evil ones will not ever repent and their evil will always come out even when they try to conform to goodness (the fox taking the poisonous serpent over the river story comes to mind) so that they do NOT make good friends and neighbours or countrymen let alone family members or house guests!
IF we are to be free from the evil that causes our suffering, then they must be banished from our reality. Heaven cannot be eternal bliss if it contains eternal evil. By the time of the final judgment, all those who are temporarily evil who can repent will have totally repented and come to accept the necessity of cleansing their whole house (reality) from all leaven (evil).

So it's kind of irrelevant whether God must love his enemy or not, given that he does love them.ttruscott wrote: Matt 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. Everyone.Better for who?
So keep the sin in check.Sin corrupts and the end of unchecked sin is total corruption.
No, so stop any sort of degradation in advance. Are you offering to allow Satan in all his complete psychotic degredation to live in your house with your family to save him from being sent to hell?
You say that but we all know being sinful does not imply being bad friends or neighbors. Sin hinges on whether you believe in the savior or not and doesn't have much to do with good or bad behavior.
Or God can just mess with their free will to avoid all these.IF we are to be free from the evil that causes our suffering, then they must be banished from our reality. Heaven cannot be eternal bliss if it contains eternal evil. By the time of the final judgment, all those who are temporarily evil who can repent will have totally repented and come to accept the necessity of cleansing their whole house (reality) from all leaven (evil).
