Does the mention of Adam in Luke 3:23-38 suggest a young earth? If Adam is indeed the first man, surely the genealogy in Luke would be much longer

Not a problem. I see what you are saying and respect that. I personally have no problem with saying I have a belief on the matter. Anyone that can count can caclulate how many years the bible places between the first man Adam and Jesus, and I do believe the chronology is correct.

That Adam is mentioned in scripture is a incontestable fact.

Yes definitely, bible chronology dates humanity to about 6,000 years. I believe 6,0042 to be exact.

If humans have only existed for about 6,000 years, then the 12,000 year old ruins at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey must be genuine proof that the Earth has been visited by extraterrestrials. Either that or the Bible and those who would interpret the creation of humans according to the Bible at 6,000 years ago is nothing but pure ignorant nonsense.

You are free to believe as you see fit, I simply stated my beliefs on the matter, not with a view to saying that they present proof one way or the other but to respond to the OP about what bible chronology indicates.

None that I will be presently sharing with you.

Right. I'll add this to the list of questions you refuse to answer. I must say, the list is getting pretty big
