God and the Dinosaurs

Post by Endlin »

Hi everyone,

I am an Aetheist looking for a few answers. I am not attacking anyone as i believe some religions to be good, and can help change a person for the better. I am merely after a discussion on peoples opinions towards the begining of time and religion.

Lets start with Gensis:

God created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th. Unfortunately he must have been looking the other way when his children took from Satan.

So Adam and Eve are now cast out of Eden and are left to populate the world.

What about everything on the inside of the Garden of Eden. At what point did contents of Eden spill over into the world. Animals are unaware of what religion is and therefore must be exempt from judgement so why are they not all still locked away in Gods garden?

Which brings me to Dinosaurs.....
1. Could you imagine how big Noah's ark would have had to of been to not only fit every living creature in female and male but also every species of Dinosaur!

2. If Dinosaurs were around just over two thousand years ago (As most christians believe to be the bibles age, and that it mentions dinosaurs) Do you not think theyre would be some proof in drawn pictures or a general panic written into the Bible as they would have been most likely the top of the food chain at the time.

3. I very much doubt the creator of the universe and everything in it would only allow us this one fragile little planet, and then flood it with Dinosaurs.

All that said i would like to ask one very conclusive question.

- If the Holy spirit/God/Creator of the universe can take absolute nothing and create what we see as the world today in entirity only using his imagination (..In Our Image...) Why can God not dispose of one evil angel (Satan) even though it was he who created everything?

:-k

In fact, your insightful analysis must certainly constitute remarkably new information to the hundreds upon hundreds of scholars who have studied and discussed Genesis for hundreds upon hundreds of years. Let me ask a question: Have you ever even once read a single respected commentary on Genesis, or did you decide to ridicule it without burdening yourself (or anyone else) with the benefit of an informed opinion?

An "Aetheist" merely looking for a few answers about "Gensis"? Disingenuous rubbish!
