Isn't the Church of Christianity supposed to represent Jesus?
Didn't Jesus hang around with sinners proclaiming that sinners are the ones who need salvation the most?
If so, then shouldn't "Christian Churches" embrace sinners and invite them openly into their congregations?
Question for debate: Why do so many Christian Churches renounce sinners and refuse to allow them to be part of their Church of Christ?
Shouldn't they be welcoming sinners above all others as Jesus did?

Re: Who Represents Christianty?
Post #61In that sense that person did not have to be heard of religion". However I think righteous person understands that God is, even if no one has told about God.
Righteous is term that is defined in the Bible and it is opposite for sinner. When the term is defined, it can be applied to any case that fits to the description.Zzyzx wrote:Since "sin" is a religious concept it applies to religious people " not to others -- no matter how hard religionists try to inflict their beliefs on others.
On Bible basis, righteous people have existed, so clearly God was successful. Unrighteous people prove only that God has allowed people to reject him. And in my opinion that is a sign of love.Zzyzx wrote:So say bible tales. Evidently the supposed "creator" was not capable of creating righteous humans.
Zzyzx wrote:If one earns a reward for being "good" or "righteous" that is NOT a gift
If person earns something, then it is not gift. If person is righteous, he has not done anything to earn something. It is feature that person may have and God has decided to give gift for those who have that feature, righteous mind. I think the reason is that they will use eternal life well and not for evil.
Eternal life is not given because person behaves. It is given because person has good quality.Zzyzx wrote:If someone says, "I will give you this but only if you behave as I require" that is NOT a gift.
There is no action that could lead to eternal life. All good actions should be done because it is right and good, not because of gift. If person does good so that he could earn eternal life, I think he is not righteous.Zzyzx wrote:If "eternal life" is earned by "righteousness" it is: 1) not a gift but a payment for performance, and 2) not restricted to those who worship God or gods.
