What's Wrong with Being Sexy?

.

Assuming one is a normal, well adjusted adult what's wrong with being or feeling sexy?

Either in .........................Behavior......................... or.................................. Dress?

(And don't say that a normal, well adjusted adult would never want to be or feel sexy)

There's a fine line between looking pretty and looking sexy.

When we look sexy for our peers, the only problem I see is that it can inspire too much "like" for that person solely based on sexual attraction. It can cloud someone's mind into focusing on the person more as an object of sexual desire rather than as another being to understand and form a bond outside of sexual attraction with.

I ultimately can't argue for the absolute right and wrong of being sexy. But I can explain a possible negative outcome of it.

When God created sex he also established marriage. Sex is intended to express the relationship between a man and woman who are married to each other. Any other kind of sexual activity is forbidden. We can sin with our thoughts as well as out actions so anything that might tempt another person to sin is itself a sin.

A lot of misunderstanding arises because most people don't realize the true purpose of marriage.

Why would a god care about the sex lives of consenting adults? That seems like a very petty thing for an all-powerful deity to be concerned about.

Also, this is the morality section. What, exactly, is immoral about normal adults being sexy? Why is this wrong? I get that it's against your religion, but why should non-believers consider it to be immoral?

How does that idea gel with the fact that for many other animals that relies on sexual reproduction, don't form pairs for life. Did God create human sex as a separate entity as other sex?

God cares about whether or not we obey him.

God's commands apply to the whole human race, not just to believers.

Humans have an ability to distinguish between right and wrong that other animals lack.

So ants for example, are morally wrong because their sex don't express the life long pair bonding between a male ant and female ant, they just don't have to knowledge to distinguish between what they do and the right and godly way?

Blind obedience is not a virtue. We aren't children. For something to be (in)moral, there has to be some reason behind it, not just a command to obey. Following orders is not moral living.

Surely an omnimax god would know this, so why would she/he/they demand this? Isn't it far more likely that the commands for blind obedience come from a human religious power structure rather than a deity?

Do you have any evidence for this baseless assertion?

Please remember that the issue isn't having sex and with whom, but being or feeling sexy.

Where does the Bible bible command anything about being or feeling sexy?
