Strictly speaking Truth cannot be a casualty

Things like the Israel-Hamas war, and other conflicts that do not demarcate in their very essence an established line between Good and Evil, having Absolutely designated it by virtue of Real and Abiding Authority (because it is universal and therefore beyond this atmospheric sphere), only speak to the fact that There Is No Truth in this material world.... True Authority must descend from the Spiritual Sky. Only that way is Truth vouchsafed and preserved.

Even in things such as video games, one seldom plays the part of a selfless hero. One more often plays a grizzled anti-hero, rogue or mercenary..., a bounty hunter out for his or her own profit, rather than for the glory of the Good. Modern day ambiguous cynicism has seeped into our very myths, and that does not bode well for our collective character formation....

At the same time however, even though in our current atmosphere there exists little to no truth (though what truth there does exist is indeed real and abiding, albeit rare as all worthy things are!), we cannot help but retain in our personal Being the Reality of Truth as it exists individually in our own hearts.... And on that basis we must act... however that spells itself out in our institutions....

“The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained.”
-― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

We must all tread our own path. We must discern it as best we can in our current state and circumstance. It remains, however, that some are endowed with greater Light than others....
"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." - Albert Einstein
