The God Delusion

Hey, all. We seem to have very few of us actually participating in the debate. I am told quite a few signed up but aren't putting much in. Anyone think they can jump in? We could use some fresh interpretations!!! :P

is the debate about the book, or can we join in if we've never read it, but we still hold an opinion on it's subjects.

I've never read the book obviously, but I'm always interested in a good debate.

You would have to pose this to otseng as I don't know the answer to this.

Though I am not a favorite of Dawkins, this book is essentially evaluating the evidence of a God in both a logical and scientific method. The book is actually quite scattered and lacks much, but it also shows much as well. Essentially, Dawkins is tyring to show why, in terms of probability, why there is almost certainly no God, the damage of the belief in God does, and the roots of the belief system that perpetuates the belief in this God. He attempts to show why religion is detrimental to society and why it is considered irrational to believe in such a myth.

Sound interesting. I'll check if the book has been published in France.
