AGAIN, another proof that the Abrahamic religions have been dissed in the face of the corronavirus fierce outbreaks in Europe and the US, by "God(s)" in favor of Eastern faiths!

Anyone care to discuss the disparity of cases and deaths in China and Hong Kong compared with what's happening in the West?

Can you backup any of the statements in the Op? Do you have verifiable evidence that Eastern prayers led to a decrease in infections or an increase in recoveries in Eastern countries?

I did not make the OP statements and do not necessarily agree. However, I have responded to what has been said in the thread (including 1213's claim that the pandemic is fake).

If you're an atheist, why would you attribute any "real" impact to religions? Are you saying that Eastern prayers had "real" impact on reducing infections or recovering from the virus? Can you support any of your claims with verifiable evidence.

If it's not really about prayer, then please explain what your topic has to do with the Christian religion.

My OP is tongue-in-cheek so to say. I think my answer to otseng (last sentence of post #2) substantiates it as opinion -- there is no "God" to pray to! Call that a strawman if you want -- I am just asking questions as if I were someone (probably fence-line agnostic), like I was many years ago.

Pardon me if you were offended.

I can't prove that anyone prayed to be delivered from this pandemic, but I don't think anyone can deny that many prayers were offered. That being the UNDENIABLE case, it seems that Eastern people of faith have God's ear more so than Western people of faith.

We should be aware that fanatics do not care to read opposing research and information. How could they keep up their rant if they actually read and understood something beyond conspiracy baloney?

Heck, in 2016 the same people thought a grand conspiracy developed in the basement of a pizza place that didn't have a basement (known as Pizzagate).
