No one will ever know
Post #1Does anyone have "proof" that God/Satan exists? If there is evidence I'd sure like to hear it. This being a debate site we should have proof but I can't think of any.

The reason there is a particle called the "God particle" is because somebody decided to call it "God particle".Shermana wrote:Well you admit there's a reason, now if you're as keen on astrophysics as you are on biology, perhaps you might understand there's a big difference between something being called a "Crab Nebula" and a "god particle".
It's not exactly purely arbitrary like the Camel and the Llama being in different genera.
There's also the issue of Earth Gravity that even Einstein was baffled by, but that's another subject.
Weinberg and Salam may be able to answer the questions about Electroweak....
If it had been discovered in Ancient Greece (hypothetically of course) it would have been called the Zeus Particle.
What are you saying, that the words chosen by some dude to describe something is proof that God exists?
What if somebody discovered a new particle and called it the "Spaghetti Monster Particle"? Does that prove anything?

The reason it's called the "God particle" is because it holds the secrets to how anything actually has mass, and what causes electromagnetic-gravitational interaction. It would bring up a host of questions as to how such an intricate particle could even come into existence...

That is no better than a CA, but that doesn't count as evidence for God. Anyway, look at what I quoted:Shermana wrote:The reason it's called the "God particle" is because it holds the secrets to how anything actually has mass, and what causes electromagnetic-gravitational interaction. You also seem to be overstating the particle's importance. Every discovery can bring up new questions (and leave others unanswered), and even if this particle were the most exciting discovery of the century (when observed), you still haven't substantiated why it proves/would prove God and Satan.Wikipedia wrote:...many scientists dislike it, since it overstates the particle's importance, not least since its discovery would still leave unanswered questions about the unification of QCD, the Electroweak interaction and gravity, and the ultimate origin of the universe.[33] In a renaming competition, a jury of physicists chose the name "the champagne bottle boson" as the best popular name.[35]

Do you KNOW about such things from personal study, in depth research, scientific knowledge and experience?
Kindly explain (not link) that there is proof that "god" or "satan" exists using "Higgs Boson" or other evidence.

It's quite simple, the Higgs Boson is obvious evidence that there's some underlying mechanics going on which stabilizes (if not creates itself) the electromagnetic and gravitational forces. I highly disagree that Electroweak would remain a mystery once its discovered.
It would throw a monkey wrench in the Big Bang too, along with the revisions of the Compton Effect that have been studied since 1973.
Put together, the Hadron Collider, if it doesn't kill us all, will prove that there is a "Deux Ex Machina" going on quite literally, since these particles are almost...intelligent.
Did you hear about the Particles going back in time to stop the Hadron Collider and Scientists actually believe this as a valid theory?
Apparently they can time travel too

Post #16What "God" or "Satan" are you referring to? Please be specific so that any available evidence could be made available. Thanks.Spaceman13 wrote:Does anyone have "proof" that God/Satan exists? It's obviously not that simple, whatever attributes you might subjectively apply to them (intellect included, which I disagree with). If it were that simple, you would have already directly addressed what of this proves God and Satan.Shermana wrote:It's quite simple, the Higgs Boson is obvious evidence that there's some underlying mechanics going on which stabilizes (if not creates itself) the electromagnetic and gravitational forces. "Some underlying mechanic going on which stabilizes (if not creates itself) the electromagnetic and gravitational forces." is not a theistic creator deity, much less Satan. Not simply calling it almost intelligent makes a personification legitimate.
A description of the history of a (very) early universe is not proof for God nor Satan; it doesn't do any better than a cosmological argument. Is a cosmological argument (first cause, prime mover, etc...) all you are showing here?

I'd say if particles can time travel, that might be indicative of some kind of Higher power....
And yes, a Cosmological argument is basically what I'm showing, and that's an argument nonetheless.
I could also bring up the issue of Cyanobacteria and Solar Radiation again like in the other thread.

The power to time travel. Extra dimensions might do wonders, but I still don't see any hole to be filled in with the supernatural.Shermana wrote:I'd say if particles can time travel, that might be indicative of some kind of Higher power....
And of course, do you have any real data that any particle can time travel? I'd say anything regarding time travel is highly speculative right now.
Yes, it's an argument classified as in favor of the existence of God. Another thing is that it actually proves God.Shermana wrote:And yes, a Cosmological argument is basically what I'm showing, and that's an argument nonetheless.
If that demonstrates God and Satan, then it would be OK to show it in this thread.Shermana wrote:I could also bring up the issue of Cyanobacteria and Solar Radiation again like in the other thread.

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 163330.htm
ScienceDaily (Mar. 16, 2011) — If the latest theory of Tom Weiler and Chui Man Ho is right, the Large Hadron Collider -- the world's largest atom smasher that started regular operation last year -- could be the first machine capable of causing matter to travel backwards in time.

It could have something to do with Hyperdrive Propulsion...but maybe unrelated.
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Hyperdri ... 3687.shtml
Might have something to do with wormholes. Wormholes would explain A LOT.

The issue that Cyanobacteria could not exist without an Ozone layer already in place...kinda...proves...Genesis 100% correct.
