I hope that you know that Christian originally meant discipline of Jesus. According to what Jesus says, true discipline of Jesus is person who remain in words that he said (John 8:31). Are todays Christians truly disciplines of Jesus? Do they keep words that Jesus said? Are they following somebody else than Jesus? Do they even know who they are following or who they should follow?
I doubt because theres so much teaching that I think is against what Jesus said. If Christian doesnt mean today discipline of Jesus, theres no problem if peoples understand that. But if Christian still means discipline of Jesus, theres much wrong in Christian world that all Christians should know. Following things are parts that are wrong in Christianity, in my opinion, but what do you say, are those really mistakes? What do you think, do I understand Bible correctly?
Trinity, when it means three God or that Jesus is God, may be the greatest mistake in Christianity because Jesus didnt say that he is God. Jesus said theres only one God (Mark 12:29, John. 5:44, John. 17:3) that is greater than him (John 14:28). So, how there can be Christians that believe more than one God or that Jesus is God, when according to what Jesus himself says thats not true? Trinity is quite bad mistake, because greatest commandment in Old and New Testament is love one and only God more than anything. Reason why many believe against what Jesus teaches is that New Testament is wrongly interpreted. In Bible there are parts that can be interpreted so that Jesus is God. However those parts dont mean that Jesus is God. Many make that mistake because God can be seen in Jesus, because Jesus says God words and do his works as Jesus says (John. 12:49-48, John. 14:10, John. 5:36). Gods words and works are not from Jesus but from God thats why Jesus himself is not God but Gods dwelling.
Trinity leads us to another mistake in Christianity. If one says Jesus is God himself, he shouldnt make pictures of him, because God has forbidden it in Ten Commandments. This is one mistake in common Christianity and its sad that many Christians dont know it or dont care. But now that you know it, dont do pictures of Jesus if you believe he is God.
Ministers or priests are also one thing that are against Jesus words and therefore wrong thing in Christianity. Jesus said that his disciples should all be equal and they should have only one God and only one master or teacher, Jesus (Mat. 23:1-12). Some Catholics even says their priests fathers, although Jesus directly forbids it in Mat. 23:1-12.
Also prohibition to marriage is against Bible (First Epistle to Timothy 4:1-3). But this mistake is mainly in Catholic Church not in whole Christian world.
As a brief conclusion it can be said that true disciplines of Jesus can be recognized for that they remain in Jesus words. This means, if someone teaches something that is against it, discipline abandons it and dont abandon words that Jesus said. Thats the first thing. Another hallmark is that disciplines love each other as Jesus teaches. If you want to be discipline of Jesus study what he teaches and keep his words.
And why these mistakes are so bad? Thats because there is same kind of promise of life like there is in that covenant that God made through Moses. If Jews love God and keep his words they shall live and have many blessings. If they dont they will have many sufferings and eventually they will perish, if they dont turn back to God and love him and keep his words as it is said in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Same thing pertain words that Jesus said. Jesus said his words are for life (John 6:63). If you leave them you also leave life. And as you can notice in Covenant that is made through Jesus and the one that is made trough Moses, most important commandment is to love God (The only God) more than anything (Deuteronomy 6:5 (Exodus 20:6) , Mat. 22:36-38). If you love God you keep his commandments. If you study what has happened to Jews in their long history, you should understand how serious thing it is to abandon God when you have accepted his Covenant as many Christians have although it seems that many of them dont understand that they have accepted some Covenant that God made through Jesus.
Whats wrong in Christianity?

Flesh makes flesh ,spirit makes spirit.
Do not be amazed that I told you, You must be born from above.
The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.
Truly I say to you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.
If only you recognized Gods gift, and who it is thats speaking to you, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water. Anyone who drinks the water I give him will never become thirsty the water I give him shall be like a well inside him rising up to provide eternal life.
Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal."
The work of God is this , that you have faith in the One he sent. The man who has faith in me will do the works I do.The works I do in my Fathers name bear witness for me.
I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.
Everything that the Lord gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,
because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.
And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should lose nothing of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day.
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him possesses eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.
No one can come to me unless the Lord who sent me draws him, and I will raise him on the last day.
It is written in the prophets: They shall all be taught by God. Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.
Not that anyone has seen God only the one who is from God has seen the Lord.
Truly I say to you, whoever believes possesses eternal life.
I am the bread of life.
this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and never die.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
Truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood possesses eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is honest drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
Just as the Lord who sent me has life so too do I have life because of the Lord, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
Whoever eats this bread will live forever.
The Lord says "Seek the Lord so you will live. Seek justice, seek humility perhaps you"ll be sheltered on the day of the Lords anger".

Prince ; Was my answer too simple???
have you drank the water that Jesus gives???
Jesus is the Word of God...his flesh therefore would be the Word of God..
his blood would therefore be the Spirit...Jesus is trying to get you to see that the life is in the Word..as peter affirms in his epistle..
II Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.. ..
and as Jeremiah writes in chap 15, verse 16, Thy words were found and I did eat them; and they word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart:
the water that Jesus is talking about above is also a representation of the Spirit, which is Christ in you...the hope of Glory!

Really simple logic: If something is true, it is not also false. There is only one "holy ghost," right? Can you think of any way to figure out which is true? Or are you helpless in determining true from false?riverslivnwtr wrote:
