It is that which started at Pentecost and is a present reality (and has been for over 2000 years). It's that which is, that which was and that which has been for over 2000 years.

Why what do you think the bible means when it uses this expression?Checkpoint wrote:Ever since, the kingdom has been here and now as well as yet future.

What exactly you meant by the term "kingdom"? How that has been only for "over 2000 years"? Was it only partly manifesting itself, say, 3000 years ago?

Post #204It is not always easy to follow you{you may at times be saying the same thing about me!}.JehovahsWitness wrote:The Messianic kingdom is what I have been referring to, if you don't know what it is, how can you tell me I'm wrong about when it started?Checkpoint wrote: What is this "Messianic kingdom" and when did it start?
Your "Messianic kingdom" seems to refer to the kingdom following the return of Jesus, but whether that was in 1914 or is yet future I do not know.
Please therefore clarify.

I presumed that's what you were referring to when you spoke of it the kingdom being a reality for over 2000 years.
JW
But you have always contested that in our exchanges over the past year.

God's reign as King, governing in His own ways to reach His eternal purpose.

Post #207The "Messianic" kingdom is the Kingdom that belongs to the Messiah. We believe Jesus to be the Messiah, so the Kingdom that belongs to Jesus is the "Messianic Kingdom".Checkpoint wrote:

LUKE 22:29
my Father has granted me a Kingdom
The Messianic Kingdom Jesus said God gave him (that Jesus obviously didn't have before God gave (granted) it to him) Why do you say "your" messianic kingdom, is it because you don't believe Jesus is the Messiah or because you don't believe the Father gave Jesus a kingdom?

Re: What is "The Good News?"
Post #208So you've heard of the expression "the kingdom of the son of God's love" before? You know where it is in the bible? How do you define "the kingdom of the son of God's love"? And why is it only 2000 years old? Where was it 3000 years ago?Checkpoint wrote:It was.JehovahsWitness wrote:"the kingdom of the son of God's love" I said that in the post above.Checkpoint wrote:What exactly is it "that started at Pentecost"?

No the "kingdom of the son of God's love". I'm not referring here to the messianic kingdom (see above).Checkpoint wrote:The expression, "the kingdom"?

The good news is we believers can now experience its present benefits, having been welcomed into it as His sons and daughters.
Thus we have a firm and grounded HOPE of its coming full manifestation.

Re: What is "The Good News?"
Post #210I don't know how to answer that because I don't remember the whole conversation. You posted just a part of what I said, above, and I don't recall what I had said along with that. It would have been helpful to be able to see the entire conversation.Checkpoint wrote: [Replying to post 193 by onewithhim]
So, before that it was only partly manifesting itself?we know that God's Kingdom hasn't fully manifested itself, but will do so in the (near) future.
If so, when did it start doing that?
