Jesus claimed to be God (John 8:14)

John 8:14
Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going (NASB).

Why do some deny the Lord Jesus is God even though the Lord Jesus claimed that His testimony alone was to be believed (cf. Deuteronomy 17:6)?

Why would Jesus need to know the hearts of all in order to testify about himself?

Both affirm that He is God.

Repeating your baseless claim doesn't make it any less baseless. Try again.

You used the word "claim." You must prove that it is used properly in your sentence otherwise it is meaningless.

Have fun.

You've clearly run out of anything resembling an argument. I have never seen a more desperate grasping at straws in my 4 years on this site. I'm not going to entertain this failure of a debate.

I am employing your method.
Deny all sources but keep asking for proof. The fact that you have been here for 4 years and still engage in this kind of argumentation speaks for itself.

By "this kind of argument" you mean the request for support of claims made? I am not denying your sources. I am asking why these sources deserve to be believed. It's like saying "my friend Joe said Jesus is God, and so that means Jesus is God". I am asking why I should believe what Joe said? Your argument is an appeal to authority. That is a logical fallacy.

And I am asking why you are choosing the words you use.
The fact that you come into this discussion and even ask me elsewhere what the BDAG stands for is absurd.

This is the third time you've made use of the reductio ad absurdum fallacy.

Invalid.

You still haven't supplied any proof for why you choose the words you do.
