Questions about Jesus and JW’s

Post by MissKate13 »

1. Jehovah’s Witnesses say Jesus was “a god.” This is how the NWT reads (John 1:1).

Do JW’s believe Jesus was a true or false god?

2. JW’s say Jesus is a created being.

When was Jesus (capital or lower case g) created?

I look forward to your responses to one or both questions.

No that is not equality, that is being gifted. Indeed those words are an indication that Jesus is not equal to God because God has NEVER had to receive what he has but Jesus admits that everything he has is "second hand".

He that wears second hand clothes can never be equal to He that has never had to wear anything "second hand" because he owns the the clothes industry !

As Jesus received the 100% gift from the 100% all of the Father, so it's not equal?
Simple mathematics of not equal I'm sure is, 99.9% < 100%. Is this correct or incorrect?

...
No because in order to be EQUAL with :The giver" Jesus would have to have to have never recieved the gift in the first place.
MATTHEW 11:27

English Standard Version
All things have been handed over to me by my Father...

Jehovah has all things PLUS one thing Jesus can never have namely being "the giver " (to Jesus).

If the Father has one thing more than the son they cannot be equal and Jehovah did not give the son the moment when gave to the Son.

Does "all" not "all"?
Does the one thing you mentioned not included in the "all?"

Obviously not since Jesus cannot be "the giver" to Jesus that's one thing the Father kept (and indeed, Jesus can never be the Father of Jesus , so that's another thing the Father has kept for himself...

The "all" must be relative rather than literal.

In the family, typically, the breadwinner father is the giver and the son the receiver.
As the breadwinner father the giver, does your moneyless son be a giver to himself?
And your son cannot be you as the father.
But both of you are equal in the state of humanity in terms of rights and dignity.

We are not talking about his "state" we are talking about what he GAVE HIM. You presented me with MATHS and asked about the numbers. If the numbers (100 or not) are your evidence I am pointing out that Jehovah the Father kept some things to himself and did not give those things to Jesus.

Do you want to do maths or not?

Exactly, so when Jehovah gave Jesus "all" things he did not give Jesus power to be the Father OF JESUS . So all did not include being the Father of Jesus, that is something the Father kept for HIMSELF. If Jehovah kept something for Himself alone he has one thing that Jesus does not have.

Jesus can NEVER be the giver to Jesus so they are not equal. One has more than the other. You do the math.

It just doesn't follow, even if Jesus cannot be the Father in relation that does not mean they are not equal in the nature of God.
If your son cannot be you being the father and the giver, that does not mean that you both are not equal being in the nature of human, in terms of right and dignity.

So what did you mean when you were asking me to speak about 100% or 99? Were you not equating equality with Jesus having everything the Father had? Why did you ask me to do the Math? If "all" doesn't mean literally everything the Father has, then why are you saying they are equal based on "all"?

So if you are not saying their so-called "equality" is based on them sharing everything (which they do not) what feature of their relationship indicates to you they are equal?

No, I just present to you what is equal (100%=100%) and un-equal (100%>99%)
Because what I mean of "all" is "all", 100%.
Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary define "all", in Greek "pas" means as the whole, every, including all, etc.
The "whole" is to me 100%.
If we say the whole earth, is USA excluded?

John 16:15
15 "All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said, that He takes of Mine, and will disclose it to you.
NASB

NT:3956 pas
pas (pas); including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:
