Most of us probably know better than to believe everything said or written. If someone tells us they can fly by flapping their arms, our response is likely disbelief and a request that they ‘show me’. If they refuse to demonstrate or fail in flapping, we regard their claim as false. Agreed?
If a person claims to have come back to life after being dead for days none of us are likely to believe the claim unless it could be verified. Right?
If someone writes that fifty years ago a long-dead person came back to life and flew away into the sky, what would be your / our likely reaction? Would we be convinced if they say ‘many saw him’?
What would it take to convince us that the tale was true?

Post #541So? SO WHAT what !? All the original handwritings of Isaiah were lost when JESUS READ from the book of ISAIAH. The originals were not necessary for our Lord to read the copies. What's good enough for the Lord JESUS is good enough for me. Note when Jesus asked for the scroll of Isaiah, there is not recordd of him saying "alleged copies" he simply asked for the scroll. This expression "alleged" is your human OPINION and has no truth in it. Please stop elevating your opinion to idolatry. If Jesus can say that the spoken words of God can be read the Hebrew "bible" of his day, even though the originals writings were long lost, then so can I.
Further when you quote in your green "thus saith the Lord..." I am looking at an alleged copy. I have no way of verifying your copy is accurate so I will reject all your alleged quotations until I have a supernatural experience or see cool writing in the sky. I'm sure you agree that that is the wise course of regarding your alleged internet copies.

You haven't heard anything yet from the Lord Jesus for you to say, 'if Jesus can say that the spoken words of God can be read the Hebrew bible......,' there is no sense in what you are pointing out in this issue. The words of God emanate only from the mouth of the Lord Jesus, and He doesn't need anything to utter them to anyone whom He wishes at any time.
Cool, we're now in CY 2026! Have you seen any original handwriting today of the scriptures which the Lord God allowed to be written? So? SO WHAT what !? All the original handwritings of Isaiah were lost when JESUS READ from the book of ISAIAH.
If and only if you are under the Lord's tutelage and shepherding today. The originals were not necessary for our Lord to read the copies. What's good enough for the Lord JESUS is good enough for me.
You were not there with Jesus, were you? What bearing does it have on your path to your salvation and eternal life with the Lord? You seem to be leaning once again on the scriptures rather than the Lord Jesus in this regard.Note when Jesus asked for the scroll of Isaiah, there is not recordd of him saying "alleged copies" he simply asked for the scroll.

You err grossly in this regard, trying to verify the testimonies to the Lord by your own means, and ignoring to come to Him for the truth.Further when you quote in your green "thus saith the Lord..." Post #543So, so what? When Jesus read from Isaiah Isaiah had been dead for HUNDREDS of years. What is your point?OneJack wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2026 2:36 am [Replying to JehovahsWitness in post #541]
