Some Christians claim that pigs are not forbidden in Christianity, and they deduce this with flimsy evidence
It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.”
((Matthew 15:11 ►)
In fact, this saying has nothing to do with banning pigs or not, but rather as part of a response to the Jews when they reproached the disciples of Jesus for not washing their hands before eating. On the contrary, the intention of the Lord Christ with his words is to show that moral impurity is far more dangerous than physical impurity.
” Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
Matthew 15:11-20
1. Pork prohibited in Qur’an
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places.
It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.
“Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine,
and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.”
[Al-Qur’an 5:3]
The above verses of the Holy Qur’an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why
pork is forbidden.
2. Pork prohibited in the Bible
The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible
prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch,
they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,
it is unclean unto you
The laws of God are one from Adam to Muhammad, peace be upon them
the worship of the One God (the Father) and not of a human being or an idol or anything you can imagine
and Prohibition of fornication, alcohol and pork
Dr Zakir Naik proved that having Pork is prohibited haraam in Islam as well as in Christianity

The story of the harlot in the Bible is fabricated and incorrect and was not found in early manuscripts
There is complete consensus that this story is added to the Gospel of John among scholars
The Gospel of John is the only one of the 4 Gospels of the New Testament to have retained this episode of the adulterous woman, and this selection was not unanimous since the episode is absent from several manuscripts
The fact is there are 40,000 Christian sects. We can fill a football stadium with Christians, every one of them can have different beliefs. Every one of them calling themselves Christian. Every one of them having Different beliefs then you.

How anyone can argue the Bible is not changed today is amazing honestly. Seriously, they literally continue to change it even today!
Consider the prophets, some who actually spoke to God, committing incest and worshiping idols.

Why do you chose to live in denial? What does the Bible say about bearing false witness?
we are at a point where Biblical scholars say the Bible is changed.
Indeed the Bible remains but how much of it is original? I can personally guarantee God did not give the Jews permission to lend on interest.
While whats in it that is original, how much of that is ignored? Such as 32 separate verses forbidding the consumption of pork?
How about all those verses where Jesus says he can do nothing but still you ascribe divinity to him?
90 Biblical verses refute your core beliefs Red. God is not the author of confusion.
Im not surprised . Go back to 300 AD and the council of Nicea declared the prophet Jesus to be god incarnate. Shouldering right up with other pagan, 3 in 1 faiths in the vicinity.
This was the day when the devil took the reigns.. So why would i be surprised that 1700 years later there are more then 2000 Bibles?
Wanna hear something interesting ? Did you know Jews are allowed to pray in a masjid... But are forbidden to pray in a church?
. Jews consider you pagan and thier prayers to the God of Abraham would not be accepted if offered in a church.
Facinating. Isnt it? Kinda like you with your Christmas tree while the Bible calls it futile.

The Bible has been changed and changed and mistranslation are 2 completely different things. Don't the 10 commandments forbid lying? Why is it that so many Christians try to deceive? Honestly it is changed even today as we live and breathe.

Re: Correcting misconceptions
Post #23Many of the events portrayed in the Old Testament were the stuff of legends, written down centuries after they would have occurred, if they occurred at all. Books like Job, Ruth, Daniel and Esther were not even legends, but novels that can not be said to have occurred at any point in time. The Books of Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Ezera and Nehemiah were written within a lifetime of the events described.
If you want to impress someone with the divine power of your religion, you therefore have to come up with prophecies that are not really prophecies. One way of doing this is to write a prophecy of an event that has already happened, then date the prophecy to an earlier time. An example of this is in Mark chapter 13, where Jesus purportedly prophesies the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, an event that happened in 70 CE. A flaw in that prophecy is that it is linked to a prophecy that Jesus would soon afterwards return on clouds of glory—an even that clearly did not happen.
Reinterpreting the words of ancient writer to make them mean things the original author never intended has been a popular way of creating prophecies. Just take a verse out of context and rely on cultural change to obscure the original meaning, making it open to all kinds of interpretation.
The events mentioned in the Bible were not recorded until much later
Mark, the first New Testament gospel, was written about 70 CE and describes the mission of Jesus and his crucifixion, which are traditionally assumed to have occurred around forty years earlier.
Matthew’s Gospel, which is believed to have been written at least ten years after Mark’s Gospel, describes the birth of Jesus and the flight to Egypt: as these things would need to have happened during the lifetime of King Herod, who died in 4 BCE, the account would have been written around 90 years after the events portrayed
Luke’s Gospel, which is believed to have been written around the end of the first century, portrays the nativity of John the Baptist during the reign of King Herod, more than a hundred years earlier.
Luke’s Gospel also describes the birth of Jesus during the census of Quirinius almost a hundred years earlier
The oldest prototype christian brand bibles date from the late 4th century and are known as Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus. These two hand written human authored books are very different from each other and the centuries later KJV bible and versions based upon it in circulation today are very significantly different from the 4th century original prototypes.
Philo Judaeus was born in 20 B.C.E. and died 50 C.E. He lived as the greatest Jewish-Hellenistic philosopher and historian of the time and lived in the area of Jerusalem during the alleged life of Jesus. He wrote detailed accounts of the events that occurred in the surrounding area. Yet not once, in all of his volumes of writings, do we read a single account of a Jesus "the Christ" Nor do we find any mention of Jesus in Seneca's (4? B.C.E. - 65 C.E.) writings, nor from the historian Pliny the Elder (23? - 79 C.E.).If, indeed, such a well known Jesus existed, as the gospels allege, don't you think it's reasonable that, at the very least, the fame of Jesus would not have reached the ears of ONE of these men? Amazingly, we have not one Jewish, Greek, or Roman writer mentioning ANYTHING found in the New Testament.

Post #2420 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
But when we really come to the interpretation of this saying; I say very frankly: Who is the main source for this text?
One of the anonymous scribes, so Jesus did not see the New Testament
There is a text in the Acts of the Apostles that forbids blood:
Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.
(20:15).
If he forbids what is sacrificed to idols and blood, then how can he said: “Here is my blood, drink it”?!
This paganism was transferred from the pagan worship that was prevalent in the Roman Empire at that time. The source or inspiration of this text is due to that widespread paganism, such as the Persian Mithraia, and one of its rituals was the Lord’s Supper, and it was on December 25, Christmas Day,
All of this is Persian paganism in the worship of Mithra, then the sign was changed from Mithra to Christ. Either we believe in the Law of Moses, which forbids the believer from blood, and thus this custom is invalid;
And Jesus said to them: When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will understand that I am he, and I do nothing on my own, but as my Father taught me,
The story of the crucifixion is completely undermined.
On this basis, we say: The text that talks about eating the body of Christ and drinking His blood is a text that was quoted from the pagan sources that were rampant in the Roman Empire at that time.

Re: Correcting misconceptions
Post #25Paul said those who oppose him should be castrated themselves...talking about the Jews (Judaizers). His resurrecting god-man savior was not the same as Jesus the rabbi, who called his followers to not only follow the Law, but do MORE than the Law required. Paul set the Law aside - Jesus didn't (at least, according to what's written about him in the earliest accounts).
Paul never met the historical Jesus
Paul didn't know much about Jesus actual life...never mentioned the virgin birth, or what he taught in much detail at all.
Paul often misquoted Jewish scripture in order to make his case, so he was not the "learned Pharisee" he claimed to be, as they would not have made those mistakes.
Paul's claimed he got his gospel directly from the Christ in a vision.
Jesus never mentions Paul coming along later to preach his gospel, saying that HE was the originator. Paul claims that HE is the source for his teaching, and that we should listen to him.
Paul used scripture to make points that were not in keeping with the original writings...look at two passages from his most anti-Semitic letter, Galatians.
Galatians 3:6 - Paul used Abraham as an example of being justified by faith, ignoring the centuries between him and Abraham, where obeying the Law was what justified God's people.
Galatians 3:10 - He quoted a curse that was originally from Deuteronomy 27:26. The passage cursed everyone who failed to keep ALL the requirements of the Law. It hammers home the need for the faithful to keep the Law and follow it in order to be obedient to God. Paul makes the opposite point, which is that those who follow the Law are cursed - the exact opposite of the original intent of the passage.
No wonder the Jesus Movement disagreed with him and fought him at every turn - in their minds, he was bastardizing the movement, and teaching that the Torah was not essential.
If Paul wanted to say that following Torah or the Law was not what was needed for believers, he could have just said that Jesus himself didn't follow it...but Jesus DID follow the Law, and Paul was not really concerned with the historical Jesus much. Jesus was a Jewish teacher (rabbi) who said that not one piece of the Law would pass away before it was fulfilled in the Kingdom of God (Matthew 5:18).
Jesus here states that he has not come to abolish God's law or the prophets, but to fulfill them.

Post #26Muhammad ibn (son of) Abdullah ibn (son of) Abdul Mutalib, was born on 12 Rabi 'Awwal in the year 570 C.E. (Christian Era) in Makkah, (today: Saudi Arabia) and he died in 633 C.E. in Yathrib (today: Madinah, Saudi Arabia)
All the prophets were anxious to convey God’s message sincerely and completely and this included the last prophet, Muhammad. During his final sermon Prophet Muhammad asked the congregation three times whether he had delivered the message, and called on God to witness their answer, which was a resounding “yes!”.
The Prophet Muhammad (S.) is a superman in the world. As a father, As a leader, As a man. He is a superman in this world.
The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was an orphan. His father died before he was born and his mother died when he was only six years old. Arabia at the time was a very tribal society. Orphans were the lowest class in society because they lacked protection. This left him feeling vulnerable at such a young age.
This left him completely dependent on God but also allowed him to feel a strong connection to the most destitute of people in society. The Qurʾān reminds the Prophet peace to be upon him to never forget his past and always care for the less fortunate.
Muhammad peace be upon him became a Prophet at the age of forty. Prior to that, he was living a normal life in society.
He conducted business, married, attended social gatherings, and mingled with all types of people. He did not lie even when he told jokes and never cheated in business. He had one characteristic that quickly became apparent to all those who interacted with him; honesty. He was never known to have lied and even those who rejected his message referred to him as the truthful one.
The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him had a strong presence. His charismatic nature left a strong impact on all those who met him. A lady named Umm Maʿbad who met him on his way to Medina and described him as follows:
I saw a man, pure and clean, with a handsome face and a fine figure. He was not marred by a skinny body, nor was he overly small in the head and neck. He was graceful and elegant, with intensely black eyes and thick eyelashes. There was a huskiness in his voice, and his neck was long. His beard was thick, and his eyebrows were finely arched and joined together.
When silent, he was grave and dignified, and when he spoke, glory rose up and overcame him. He was from afar the most beautiful of men and the most glorious, and close up he was the sweetest and the loveliest. He was sweet of speech and articulate, but not petty or trifling. His speech was a string of cascading pearls, measured so that none despaired of its length, and no eye challenged him because of brevity. In company, he is like a branch between two other branches, but he is the most flourishing of the three in appearance, and the loveliest in power. He has friends surrounding him, who listen to his words. If he commands, they obey implicitly, with eagerness and haste, without frown or complaint (Shama’il al-Tirmidhi).

Post #27The Way of the Cross
34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels
The meaning of carrying the cross here is the readiness to sacrifice for the sake of God, not the crucifixion of Christ
And since Christ, peace be upon him, was an eastern man and spoke to an eastern people and in an eastern language, he often used to, as the Christian holy books show us, either he spoke to them with symbols, proverbs rhetorical
Because the sentence in its literal sense does not have a share of the mind, history or Jewish customs, and with greater clarity,
If Christ actually commanded his followers to carry his cross, then this means that every citizen of the Children of Israel has his cross.
We did not hear that, and the Jews did not keep crosses in their homes, which no historian has said since the days of Christ until the present day.
Moreover, Christ himself did not carry a cross, so he did not order those who wanted to follow him to carry a cross. What is the purpose, feasibility, or significance behind that?
That is, he tells them:
Whoever wants to follow me must know that he may be exposed to death every day, and he must be prepared for that, and he must not fear death,
And that is the Sunnah of God. Those who followed Moses, peace be upon him, and fled with him from Egypt, they knew that Pharaoh might catch up with some of them and kill them, and those who followed Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, knew that the infidels would plot against them and fight them, but they carried their crosses or prepared their shrouds or prepared to die in the cause of God

Re: Correcting misconceptions
Post #28The Roman Empire was under threat by the division of the empire, internal and religious discord, outward pressure of the barbarians (people who did not belong to the great civilisations; Greek, Roman, Christian). The great Spirit/power of Rome was fast departing. Christianity seemed like the only efficient power for a political reformation of the Empire.
Idolatry also had outlived itself in the Roman Empire, Christianity could breathe new life into it, as the Christians were following already pagan traditions instituted by Saint Paul.
Prior to this, Christians were persecuted under the Roman Empire for centuries. Constantine stopped the persecution of the Christians and improved the condition of slaves. Even though he was promoting Christianity, he himself wasn’t practising it.
Historian J L Mosheim states "The Christian bishops introduced, with but slight alterations, into the Christian worship, those rites and institutions by which formerly the Greeks and Romans and others had manifested their piety and reverence toward their imaginary deities; supposing that the people would more readily embrace Christianity if they perceived the rites handed down to them from their fathers still existing unchanged among the Christians, and saw that Christ and the martyrs were worshipped in the same manner as formerly their gods were.”
The Catholic Encyclopaedia states that believers are “to worship God and then to pray, first to Saint Mary, and the holy apostles, and the holy martyrs, and all God's saints, that they would intercede for them to God. In this way they learned to look up to the saints in heaven with feelings of confidence and affection, to consider them as friends and protectors, and to implore their aid in the hour of distress, with the hope that God would grant to the patron what he might otherwise refuse to the supplicant.”
This is not biblical at all and was not taught by any of the prophets. This is an invention of the Catholic Church. These saints are avatars of pagan gods.
Pagan statues (of gods) were re-labelled. Isis and Horus became Mary and Jesus. Statues of Jupiter were re-labelled to Saint Peter. Just like the one in the Vatican where millions of visitors touch and kiss its feet.
You can tell it is a sun god by the sun disk behind its head.
Romulus and Remus re-labelled to the great martyrs Cosmas and Damian. Hermes becomes Christ the good shepherd.
God is the Father alone; He is worshipped by all the prophets—peace be upon them—including the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him.
Christ said
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
John 17:3
Christ also did not claim divinity and restricted divinity to God (the Father) alone
He did not say that he is a god or that the Holy Spirit is a god

Post #29If a mathematician wants to be a good mathematician, he should learn, and practice the fundamentals of mathematics. If he is not a fundamentalist of mathematics he will not be a good mathematician. This principle also applies with science, medicine, architecture etc. The same applies with religion, to be a pious, practicing believer you need to master the fundamentals of the religion. There are no fundamentals of Islam that are against humanity at all.
The real followers of Islam do not see this world as everyone else does, we see it as temporary. As instructed we want to follow the Quran and teachings of the prophet’s as well. We want to do everything to please God. So we learn the fundamentals of the religion that pleases God and master them.
Islam is the most fundamental and truthful religion to have ever existed on earth. Islam is the eternal religion right from the time of our father Adam and will last till Doomsday. 'ISLAM' comes from two words: 'salm' meaning peace and 'silm' meaning submitting one's will. In a religious context 'Islam' means peace acquired by submitting one's will to the Almighty God.
Islam teaches us to obey one's parents, respect the elders, love the youngers, have pity on the afflicted, give to charity, be kind to neighbours, forgive the wrong-doers [upto a certain extent], not to tell lies, not to steal, not to bear hatred in one's heart, not to revile anyone, not to harm anyone unnecessarily, not to boast of, not to gamble, not to take intoxitants, not to commit adultery, etc. In short, Islam teaches us to be humble and follow the commandments of Allah - the Almighty God without ascribing partners to Him.
Islam or Muslims dont change . Christians and other religions have long fallen and sold out to liberalism and western atheistic ideologies. Thats why you see ga-y Christian priests openly and other weird things that goes against Christianity. If they really believed in Christianity then Christians would have long shut down this blasphemy. Jews are becoming more atheistic. Hinduism is not really one belief but a range of many different traditions in the sub-continent but they too have liberalized as well as supposedly peace loving Buddhists except in their countries when they are not very loving.

Post #30usury is forbidden in the Bible
In the Old Testament
They should lend to their brothers without interest, but You can lend at interest abroad
Deuteronomy 23:20 “ 20 You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a fellow Israelite, so that the Lord your God may bless you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.
In the New Testament
The Christian position on usury has changed today. Many churches applied its lawfulness to the circumstances of the time despite general texts forbidding it in the Bible.
Jesus neither paid nor received usurious interest, in accordance with the Old Testament prohibition against it (Exodus 22:25). Usurious interest is forbidden in the Old Testament and in the Koran, as it was forbidden in the religion of Jesus. The economic system of most Christian countries today, however, is based on usurious interest.
the wealthy, founders of companies, banks, great merchants, insurance companies, and even countries large and small were involved in lending with interest, in pursuit of the production and development of wealth. In this regard, various systems and laws were put in place to manage money and lend it, and to collect certain interest on loans, and most people began to deal with banks and deposit their money in banks in exchange for certain interest. that this kind of usury or interest is not forbidden in the Church
God forbade usury in the Quran, as I said, whether the usury be great or small
O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.
(3:130 Quran)
God has forbidden interest if the debtor is in arrears then the creditor should not force the debtor to pay interest
On the other hand, we see the tolerance of Islam in forbidding dealing with usury in all its shapes and forms with all human beings
Islam prohibits others from infringing on their rights, even if they are not in the religion of Islam.
