As far as Im aware the incoherent babble we see today is fake. Speaking in Tongues meant talking in foreign languages. not Angellic language. Do you agree?

Re: Speaking in Tongues
Post #2According to this, it was so:
They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, "Behold, aren't all these who speak Galileans? How do we hear, everyone in our own native language? Parthians, Medes, Elam-ites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyre-ne, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!" They were all amazed, and were perplexed, say-ing one to another, "What does this mean?" Others, mocking, said, "They are filled with new wine."
Acts 2:7-13

Post #3As one that still has the ability to speak in tongues, I agree.
You can give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day, or you can teach a man to pray for fish and he will starve to death.

Re: Speaking in Tongues
Post #5Is that no evidence for speaking in tongues that many foreign nations also got the message and turned to Christianity and it did not remain just a Hebrew matter?
