I believe "General Chat" is the correct place for this thread.
Everybody can list their favorite current bands, or all time faves, then others can judge you as a person based on who you put.

Wow, I can honestly say I've never heard of any of those people. Do you have any links to songs?McCulloch wrote:For starters.

There aren't really any bands at the moment I can say I'm huge fans off. I tend to be more into 80s and 70s music, mainly New Wave.
Some of my favourites:
Talking Heads
Men at Work
Human League
Spandau Ballet
Split Enz
Bee Gees
Abba
Thompson Twins
Dire Straits
Miami Sound Machine
Too many to list.

*Congratulates Mike on his excellent musical taste*. Have you got their first album, Funeral? It is also brilliant.MikeH wrote:Currently in heavy rotation:
-Arcade Fire: Neon Bible
Edit: Oh! I have just followed your link, and seeing as the song playing is Rebellion (Lies) I guess you must know the stuff off Funeral.

- Air
-The Magnetic Fields
- Sigur Ros
- Outkast
- Bjork
- Echo and the Bunnymen

Yes, both cds are awesome. Now if only they would ever book a show in Florida....Fallibleone wrote:*Congratulates Mike on his excellent musical taste*. Have you got their first album, Funeral? It is also brilliant.
Quite different stuff on here than their earlier albums, but like most Radiohead albums, listen to it all they way through a few times, and it won't get out of your head. It's a really good album.Recently downloaded this one. I haven't listened to it yet, but The Bends and OK Computer were played to death.
