Bring on World War 3. . .

So the question for debate is this. . .

Who's side is God on? What makes you believe that this is true?
Considering the amount of suffering, poverty, crime, genocide, pestilence, disease, wars, starvation, subjugation, rapes, molestations, etc.... that currently exist globally, I really have to wonder which side He is on as well. If I had to judge it based on humanity, I would have to say that God is on the side of those who would cause harm because He sure isn't providing much protection to those who are trying to do good. But this is strictly MHO.
This made me think. Is the world REALLY this screwed up? Or is the world still decent enough to warrant living in?

If it is as described above, then would it not be better to simply start world war 3, have every launch Nukes, and if any one survives they can start over with a clean (albeit radioactive) slate?

Is this world worth keeping?
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

Since I made the quote, I will take first stab.

Should we nuke it and start over? No. The death of millions or more isn't going to solve anything. History repeats itself over and over. We decimate each other, start anew, only to decimate each other again. Even God couldn't get it right. He wiped out all man but a family whom He found to be pure and worthy. Guess what, they screwed it up to.

Simply, there is no solution. Until man stops fighting man, peace cannot come. We pulled together for 9/11, then we pulled apart. We pulled together for Hurricane Katrina, then pulled apart. Face it, man is its own worst enemy. Give us something else to fight, then perhaps we stand a chance at surviving another couple thousand years. Maybe an alien invasion, an asteroid, a global freeze. Something that requires uniting rather than dividing.
What we do for ourselves dies with us,
What we do for others and the world remains
and is immortal.

-Albert Pine

Accept no one persons definition of your life; define yourself.

These are two interesting comments to be made back to back. Are they contradictory in nature or is there a solution?

I can see one solution. God forces his divine will on everyone. This could solve the problem. Any other solutions out there?

I would like to point out that most of the world is uniting.

Its generally the United States, as one nation, that is hostile and none-cooperative towards the world. Asia is uniting, Europe is united, etcetera. Everyone is Trying to work together, EXCEPT:

United States. Who seem to say that the world is evil and jealous of their "great power" (which is never defined)....

HONESTLY, in a OBJECTIVE VIEW, the United States is the problem. Have Nuclear Weapons, prepared to use it, starts war all he time and continue to show to have no respect for human life. The world is not a problem, One Specific country is at the moment, a rogue fanatic state calling themselves "the best"...

So no, me travelling and loving the world, i would not. No doubt americans would, as they think the "world" is thei small area they live in, and nothing outside is better or more interesting, only them them them.. Evil jealous world.. EVIL...

Cynical? Yes, But am i really wrong? I would not think so.

You have such an anti-American bias it truly detracts from your positions. If you would simply breath, and relax about hating America, you would probably earn some respect on that and other topics.

But for now, please defend your post in light of these recent events. How can it be unifying and be better than the US (who is actively assisting in avoiding bloodshed in these areas)?

hahaha, Are you saying because some asian countries have 'conflicts', they are not uniting... Wow. your like a Creationist. So anything thats against your view makes the word "united" pointless.

Kosovo is one country in EUROPE (Not European Union). What about the rest of them? Oh, yeah, they are in Chaos. And ASEAN does not exist, because Taiwan (Which is part of China) have issues with eachother.

Makes sense.

Are all facts that show the U.S in a negative light considered "american hatred"? Just curious.

You didn't answer me.

How can Asia be united if these (and others and anyone say Tibet?) exist?

How can Europe be uniting as one when there are two cases of genocide within the last few years?

Yes you are right. Europe is in chaos and civilwar. Same in Asia.

I hope America (USA) protects us and unite us, because they are united under god (Kansas, Creationism anyone?).

God Bless America. How are we to manage during all this chaos in europe and asia....
