Allah-uabha!

Post by Popeyesays »

My name is Scott, Popeyesays has been my "handle" for about ten years on the internet in chat rooms abolut military history, the Holocaust, religious topics and discussions, wargamning, and writing forums.

I like respectful, thoughtful discussions and dislike personal vendettas and strident environments. This looks a good match for me.

My 61st birthday comes up on the 28th of this month--in war gaming rooms, I proudly bill myself as an 'old fart gamer'.

Regards,
Scott

Hi Scott,

Welcome to the forum, from another “old fart – seven and a half years your chronological senior. It is, as you suggest, a place for respectful, thoughtful discussion -- for the most part. Those who present weak "arguments" often rely upon personal attack when their "reasoning" and "evidence" ("it is true because the bible says so and the bible is true because it says it is") fails to withstand challenge.

What view of religion and of the holocaust do you tend to argue?

I know this guy from another forum. That other forum doesn't allow for harsh critiques against the Bahai cult. Hopefully that won't be the case here. "Bahaullah" was the filthiest liar next to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.

This is what we strive for here. But, it's not an easy goal.

Welcome and enjoy your stay.

Hey there Popeyesays, I hope you enjoy your stay here. I also consider Bahai a manmade religion, but nonetheless respect your right to believe what you want.

What sort of wargames do you play? Online play or board games? Have you ever played Combat Mission?
