Just saying goodbye

Due to some bias I've encountered on this forum, I've lost the fire in me to want or care to debate. So for any theists, agnostics, and atheists who I've had pleasant/intelligent/enlightening convos with, thanks and farewell. I'll cancel my account.

I think I understand what you mean, Angel. But they can't help it. Perhaps you would reconsider and just leave for awhile for a break and not cancel your account altogether. You are a good debater and have much to contribute. After all, if the Holy Spirit doesn't bless an exchange in the way we'd like to see, then He doesn't. But this forum can be very unpleasant and perhaps it is unprofitable (spiritually-speaking)...whatever your decision, best wishes to you!

Sincerely,
GentleDove

I hope that you will reconsider. Your position still needs a strong advocate.

That's too bad. You seemed to be a more capable debater than many other theists who have come through here.

Remember though, that long suffering is a fruit of the spirit! But in the end it's your decision.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

It's a shame you left. I haven't seen the bias you speak of, but I'm not exactly on your side of most debates. Hopefully you'll reconsider and come back at a later date. Take care.

So long, been nice to have a well spoken theist around. I hope you reconsider.
