I have a question for the "Atheist Debunkers" group:
Atheism is the absence of a belief in a deity. The reason why atheists do not have such a belief is because we do not see sufficient evidence to support such a belief. This is exactly why we (or at least most of us anyway) also have a lack of belief in Santa Claus, fairies, ghosts, astrology, Zeus, Thor, or Superman. We are refusing to believe anything without evidence. We don't care what the belief is, or how pretty it is, or even how bizarre it is (think quantum mechanics). What we do care about is how well this belief stacks up against hard evidence.
So, how then can you "debunk" a lack of a belief? By showing good, solid evidence for your belief? If not that, then what?
How can you debunk atheism?
