It's been suggested to have awards similar to America's Debate. So, we're going to set that up. But first, we need to decide on the categories. Below are the list of categories for the awards. If you have any additional ideas, post them here and I'll update the list below. After we finalize on the list, then we can open up the awards to nominations.

Best topic/thread in each of the eight debate categories and maybe in each of the seven discussion categories as well, although some have few topics. Is that too many awards?

Please allow me to veto your suggestion, please do not take offense though I fear that we may hurt someone's feelings :( probably mine  :nervious:

Ok, fine, how about:

Person least likely to complain about not winning an award.

Well, then conversely one could give an award for:

Person most likely to complain about not winning an award.

I think it works out fairly well.

Person 1: I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T WIN AN AWARD! I'M SO GOING TO COMPLAIN TO....
Person 2: Relax, man. You just won.
Person 1: Yay :)

Is there going to be a cutoff date for membership to determine who is eligble, or what post are eligible?
