Telling a homosexual that he is a sinner would be against the rules, but telling a homosexual that homosexuality is a sin would not be against that rule as you are not attacking the person but the behavior.
I propose the greatest "sin" is declaring one knows the mind of God, while being wholly incapable of showing they speak truth, but what I'm here to get at is...

We need to accept and lovingly support brothers and sisters who are struggling with this problem.
When one considers homosexuality a "problem", how might that person ever show "loving support" t'wards homosexuals?
I dare say, the "homosexual problem" is not a problem of homosexuals, but of religious zealots who think nothing of ostracizing and "sinizing" any person, issue, or act they ain't personally comfortable with thinking about, much less thinking about there being someone who might enjoy such.

Vulgar words or jokes about homosexuals should never pass the lips of a Christian.
As "vulgar" is a subjective term, I find it far more "vulgar" for the Christian to claim they know the wants and wishes of a god they can't even show exists.
To then sit on some moral high chair and look down their noses at the "homosexual problem", indicates a lack of self-awareness I've come to expect from so many Christians.
"We need to be loving to those filthy perverts" is all I see here. That you consider something a "sin" is best an indicator of your dislikes, rather than the dislikes of a god that can't be shown to have ever had a thought.
I contend it's attitudes such as we see displayed here that should lead us to conclude that religious belief is far too often just a "cover" for the individual's personal take on things. Don't like homosexuals? Declare "God Almighty Himself" agrees with you, and then smugly suggest that in your god's name will you offer "love" to those who suffer a "problem"
of your own making.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Christianity.
