Love Boondock Saints. Good action, creative premise, and funny dialog. Eagerly awaiting the third movie in the franchise.
That being said, absolutely not. Not a chance in hell is it morally defensible, regardless of your opinion on the definition of morality, to elect themselves judge, jury, and executioner of Boston's criminal underworld.

Well, they had the luxury of all their victims being complete certified scum, things would be less black n white in reality.
But I'm not against the principle.
