Please consider the Bible passages below:
God is love - 1 John 4:8
Love is not jealous - 1 Corinthians 13:4
The Lord thy God is a jealous God - Deuteronomy 6:15
That's like saying this:
Skippy is a cat
Cats are not dogs
Skippy is a dog
Logically impossible. Therefore God does not exist.
Question for debate: Is there any way to escape the fact that the Biblical attributes of God are logically contradictory and clearly violate the Law of Identity? Is there any way to come to any conclusion other than that God, as described in the Bible, doesn't exist?
Is God logically possible?

The title question makes me ask, "How did God do it?"
If the God of the Bible, presumably pure spirit, really did create the universe, this world, and all life upon it, how did he do it? I've never heard an explanation other than 'he just did it' or 'he thought it and it became.' Since there is no explanation, I conclude,
'No, God is not logically possible.'

'God' as evident FROM the World/Universe we observe around us is not 'god', which is the, or made 'of the' world and the universe we observe around us, .. the created things.
How else could I explain this except pointing to simple FACTS?
God is the Creator, can you still understand this, or this sounds foreign to you?
Now it is YOU my atheist buddy that asked if "God was logically possible?" .. correct?
If you insist on a logical answer, you, we, all have to agree what 'logic' we are going to use. If you cannot differentiate the word 'finite' from the word 'Infinite', or that you believe as in the word 'gay' vs. 'homosexual' that it could mean either or, then NO, .. to you and the rest here 'God' the 'Infinite, Eternal Creative Mind' could never be "logically possible" where we could all agree on.
You all so far (I haven't had anyone acknowledge to understand and agree what I have been saying), every one of you religious atheists/theists have been trapped in 'Circular logic', limited by religious indoctrination, thus
.. a universal logical answer to 'God' is no longer possible.
This can mean two things; either that I am speaking in a foreign language here as you said, needing translation, or that the 'religious plague of indoctrination' has so corrupted human communication, in any language, that it is no longer possible to logically communicate with each other!? Like that the word 'gay' has been so perverted, so removed from human communication that it no longer can be understood as 'happy, joyful etc.' but only as 'homosexual'.atheist buddy wrote:What is this user saying? I truly don't understand. Can somebody translate?
It's on my thread so I suppose I should at least get an idea of what is being said.
Any help from translators familiar with whatever language Arian is using, would be greatly appreciated.

Post #73Thank you McCulloch my friend.McCulloch wrote:Yes, it is possible that crucial bits of evidence can be missed. One way to minimize this from happening is to critically analyze all claims of evidence from various sources and points of view.arian wrote:reasoning from evidence? How do you decide on evidence other than what you think/believe is evidence?
And this includes 'evidence from emotion' correct? Even though emotion can be faked, it is still one of the major telltale signs police use when they pull someone over, right?
Maybe it just seems like 'incomprehensible word play' McCulloch, because as you said; "It resembles nothing else I have ever seen written by practicing scientists."McCulloch wrote:I have looked at your repeated claim to have scientifically proven the existence of nothing. It resembles nothing else I have ever seen written by practicing scientists. In fact, to me your arguments for the existence of nothing are a collection of barely comprensible word play.arian wrote:You called me out on my claim that I can prove scientifically the existence of God, I have also claimed that I can scientifically prove the existence of 'nothing', the paradoxes that are actually lies in the Theory of Relativity etc.. and buddy I am still waiting for an 'intellectual' response from you. I believe I have done my part,
And I agree with you, as we discussed that YouTube scientist meeting to discuss the meaning of 'nothing', I pointed out their flaws. I mean even for a well known ASU Professor to sum up his understanding of 'nothing' as "No-thing" was actually chocking to me. That it is something we don't need to even talk about. I mean nothing does mean 'no-thing', no one would debate that. But does nothing exist? And I have proven scientifically and philosophically that it does.
What you guys and other scientist don't or can't seem to understand is that if something that has the opposite characteristics of anything else we know in this universe does not mean it doesn't exist. Nothing exist exactly as 'nothing', and I have proven it every logical way possible.
Hey McCulloch, where did we leave off on that subject? You posted it didn't you?
How did Isaak Newton explain gravity? Well I used the same kind of obvious rational arguments.McCulloch wrote:One of the important things about science is that one can explain clearly how one knows what he knows. How do you know what you claim to know about God?arian wrote:You see, I KNOW God our Creator, not just claim that I do.
If 'finite' things exist, it is only possible because of Infinity. No Infinity, then the 'nothing' dominates, and if 'nothing' dominates, then you couldn't fit even a quantum speck of Higgs boson into it, let alone 'expand' in it.
Exactly my friend, you said it right there: "Theism is defined to be the belief in some form of god." And as I have explained many times, every god that has been created is NOT the Creator. Another words you cannot have created; god, god, god, god, Creator-GOD, god, god.. or finite, finite, finite, finite INFINITE, finite, finite etc.McCulloch wrote:Theism is defined to be the belief in some form of god. You claim that God himself is not theistic. Therefore, God does not believe in God. I am indeed in good company in my disbelief!arian wrote:God is not your theistic gods that you claim you don't worship.
You cannot just throw the Creator God into the box of created-gods. I mean you can, and you guys do, which proves you were created in Gods image, with absolute free will. You can do whatever you want, no matter if it breaks the law of physics, or the law of what is right and what is wrong. Just like my story of the child who was asked by the mother to "go get his dad", and brings to her one of his 'many' toy soldiers and says: "Here is daddy!".
What can a mother do? She can explain over and over to the child that; "This is NOT daddy baby, this is a plastic toy!" But he can refuse to understand. But if this problem persists into adulthood, it would be a sign of a serious problem.
I have identified this problem as; "delusion caused by centuries of religious indoctrinations." It is very contagious because the way it is spread; like someone with the flu sneezing right in your face and you have nowhere to turn. It's practically everywhere.
God does believe in God, and this is also evident in the Bible when God says that He swears by no other name greater then Himself, for there is no other name greater!
So my advice is; "Be careful of the company you keep!"

I understood the part about the word "gay" meaning somehting different from what it meant 70 years ago. But beyond that, it's as though you were speaking Serbian for all that I managed to extract from your post.
No clue what you're saying.
