Christ is

This study is to show that Christ is much more than what we have been taught by man.

I know there are many that will dispute what I state in this study, but if you have an issue with something I state please take it to the debate forum and start a new thread.

I hope Christ opens the reader's eyes to these wonderful truths.

I'll start with this wonderful truth:

[center]Christ is Lord of Lords[/center]
Deu 10:17
For the LORD (yehôvâh) your God [is] God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Psa 136:3
O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

1 Timothy 6:15
Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate (Jesus Christ), the King of kings, and Lord of lords

Rev 17:14
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rev 19:16
And he (Jesus Christ) hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Jehovah (Yehowah/ Yaweh/YHWH) is a name that is NEVER applied to Jesus in scripture ONLY to the Father.

1. Christ is Lord of lords
2. Christ is King of Kings
3. Christ is the Holy One
4. Christ is the Redeemer
5. Christ is the Husband

[center]Christ is One Body[/center]
Eph 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Rom 7:4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Eph 5:29-31 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.

Eph 1:22-23 And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Rom 12:4
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

1Co 12:25-27
That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; (Jesus Christ) and the head of Christ [is] God.

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Joh 17:21-23 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Eph 4:4-6 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who [is]above all, (including Christ) and through all, and in you all.

Peace.

YHWH literally means the hand reveals the nail reveals.

Who fits that description?
Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

1. Christ is Lord of lords
2. Christ is King of Kings
3. Christ is the Holy One
4. Christ is the Redeemer
5. Christ is the Husband
6. Christ is One Body

[center]Christ is a Spiritual Body[/center]
Eph 4:4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all (including Christ), and through all, and in you all.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by theSpirit:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:

1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Rom 8:10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

Rom 8:23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit,] the redemption of our body. (This is not our physical body – hopefully we SEE by now, what body is being spoken of here).

Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1Co 15:44
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body (Christ).
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body (Christ).

1Co 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Christ) [was made] a quickening spirit.

1Co 15:46
Howbeit that [was not] first which is spiritual (Christ), but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. (Christ).

1Co 15:47
The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man (Christ) [is] the Lord from heaven.

1Co 15:48
As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly (Christ), such [are] they also that are heavenly. (Christ)

1Co 15:49
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the Heavenly. (Christ)

1Co 15:50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

God Bless.
