What if man did disobey God? Would that justify God losing his temper and reacting like an immature crazed lunatic?

I don't think so.

The idea that man disobeying God could somehow justify the behavior of the God of the Bible is hardly a compelling argument in any case.

None the less, I agree that these fables have never been shown to be true.

Not only this, but educated people today realize that death, disease, and all manner of imperfections, including animals eating each other, has clearly always been the situation on planet Earth long before humans even showed up on the planet. So the idea that humans could be responsible for bringing those things into existence is clearly nonsense.

This is an ancient religious fable that we now know has no credibility at all. Why anyone continues to argue that such fables could be true is beyond me.

If brains were taters, you'd be Idaho..

"My God believes him in all the same goofy things it is I do", is, I contend, the argument of the scoundrel.

Watch this thread, see the "godly claimant" fall in a tater patch!

I don't have ANY means.

And nor, I suggest, do the faith communities.

I'm going to put on my Prophet Hat again and solemnly predict that not one person of faith who claims they are dealing with "scripture:" will admit they are without the means you ask for.
No one EVER demonstrates that "God" exists outside their parietal cortex.

That whole confirming God part is going to be a bit problematic, is it not?

Man? Sure, we either are one or see one most every now and then.

Ignoring that issue for a bit, if man could throw a monkey wrench in God's plans, it seems that it is man that deserves the title of God. God has now become subservient to man and man has become the God of God.

I hope he doesn't lose his pension over the whole affair.
