Not completely. There exists a society "Christians for the Cloning of Jesus" who want to isolate his DNA from that Turin cloth, I don't know the English name. No more or less ridiculous than Scientology, I would say.
Considering that the 'blood' stains appear to be paint, that might be interesting :P

That's certainly science fiction, but I'm not sure if we should count this very new movement as "old religion". In any case, it's silly because the shroud is a fraud.
