He created all that is, but needs your hard earned money to build a church or pay his people?
Why?
Why can't God create a church from the ground without your money (or time, for that matter)?

Surely the spontaneous creation of a building with all the plumbing and electrical needed would be enough to convince most, if not all, of his existence. But we don't see that - we see faces of Jesus in grilled cheeses or Doritos. No...no spontaneous church creation - that requires your money.

The typical response is "God doesn't need your money, you need to give your money to God" or the like. But if you're a Christian, and the love of money is the root of all evil, shouldn't you not be so concerned with your $ that it is a challenge for you to give it up to build a church or pay the electric bill?

So what's the real reason such a being needs your money to further his kingdom?

False dilemma bro. Option 3 - he wants us to play a part.
Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

God doesn't need anything much less money however he has chosen to allow Satan to rule this present system and instructed his worshippers to live within it without the guarantee of instantaneous miracles to sustain them in this material world. Thus the godly have the privilege of proving their devotion to Him by living without the benefit of spectacular miracles.

It is for this reason the godly also need money for material things including the building and maintenance of dedicated buildings.

Jehovah's Witnesses never charge a fee for preaching or teaching, all weddings, funeral services and pastoral visits are conducted free of charge. They do not charge the public for any of the books or magazines they print and visit people and conduct bible studies for free. Their website contains no commercial advertising. Our "church" buildings are mostly built by volunteer workers who work for free.

They do not have a paid clergy.

Nonsense.

Q: Part in what? In convincing the world of his existence and his message?

Q: Is your God not omnipotent? Why would an omnipotent being use such an inefficient way?

Does not make any sense i am afraid.

We have billions of people that are non-believers, not Christians. We have billions that have died non-believers, not Christians and will have many billions in the future that will be non-believers, not Christians.

I am afraid is still option 2 or option 1. 8-)

I just want to show what Bible tells about this:

The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.

Acts 17:24-25

Hopefully that helps even some people to get better understanding.

Unless God miraculously provides all the material needed for the construction of your church buildings, then money is needed for their completion. Additionally, unless God is creating free land for your church, money is needed to procure it. Does God do this or is money involved in the building process? If money is involved in some way, then your claim doesn't address the OP in any way.

The discussion is about church buildings. The buildings where "God's people" gather to "worship" God. It is clearly not about temples. These verses don't address the topic at hand in any way.

I did not say otherwise, I made a simple statement of fact, do you contend there is something inaccurate in my statement?

I quite clearly stated this, "If money is involved in some way, then your claim doesn't address the OP in any way." Do you contend there is something inaccurate in this statement?

Indeed your statement is inaccurate since it implies mine was is totally unrelated to the issues raised in the OP. Since the the original post questions the relationship between money and worship my statement does in some way address this post. Hence you claim that my statement doesn't address it {qoute} " In any way" is patently false. The "way" may have been indirect, since the questions raised are loaded and based imho on a false premise, which is why I chose to deal with the fundamental issues rather than false dichotomy, but my statement most certainly relates to the central issues raised by those questions.

Is there anything else you would like me to clarify for you?

It is accurate. Given that the OP asks why God needs money. You ignored that fact that God needs money to build church buildings.

Since the the original post questions the relationship between money and worship my statement does in some way address this post.
The OP doesn't mention worship at all. Once again, your response doesn't address the OP.

Is there anything else you would like me to clarify for you?
Nothing more than the issues I've already brought up which you have failed to address.
