Cornavirus why did god create it

Post by Donray »

Why did God create a new virus to kill people? This is a question for any Christain that believes in the Noah myth or creationism. Because if either is true then God did create this virus and did it to kill people.

Also, why does God allow this virus when he could wave his wand and get rid of it?

Love is whatever God defines it to be.

The sum of the whole matter really is this. If there is something that God Himself must conform to, then that is God.

Im not sure if you understand what an actual deity is. If He says 2+2=5, then 2+2=5.
1 John 4:8 isn't talking about what love is; it's talking about what God is. If God is love, then love is God's nature and not just God's "opinion".

This is the standard, though erroneous, answer to evil in the world. Man let it in. The Black Death was a disease brought by rats or fleas. Man didn't invent it. Primitive tribes believe that when some tragedy occurs - such as a tsunami - then it is evidence of God's anger. In his architectural design God presumably planned for earthquakes and tsunamis, and sowed all sorts of viruses for man to pick up randomly. That is if such a God exists. It is better to suppose we are tremendously lucky to be on a planet that supports our life form, but chance being what it is we have faults in our planet, not the flaw of a deity, but just the way things are. Our good fortune of course will not last eternally.

No. If He says 2+2=5, then He is too stupid to be a deity.

Gender ideology is anti-science, anti truth.

I think what's being claimed here is that a deity would be able to make two and two equal five, and that the only reason they equal four is because he said so in the first place.

Numbers work (and 2+2 doesn't equal 5) because math has been our way of quantifying some parts of the universe. It's hard to imagine a universe that different, and probably fundamentally illogical, but you won't catch me saying it couldn't exist.

In fact, on a very small scale, some of our laws that describe a logical universe do seem to break down. This might be a necessary phenomenon for any sort of existence.

William: My post wasn't concerned with labeling anything 'good' or 'evil', even that it could be said the OP was arguing from that point of view.

My pointing out that this virus is moving fast around the world, because of human social systems and movements was to say that viruses of themselves are not 'good' or 'evil' that we can then point fingers at The Creator and play the blame-game.
