Does (or will) the Kingdom of Heaven transcend the walls (metaphorical) of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses?
Will those outside of the Watch Tower organization be part of the Kingdom? Will they inherit "eternal life in Paradise on Earth"?
Why or why not?

The Kingdom of Heaven
Post #1 My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Re: The Kingdom of Heaven
Post #11So YOU are a Christian but Jehovah's Witnesses are not? Is that it? You have the right to the name but JW or those that responds to Jehovah's Witnesses do not? Is that about right?Elijah John wrote:No, that is not what I call Christians...JehovahsWitness wrote:
"recruits"? recruits?! Is that what you call Christians now, recruits? Do you really think you honor Jesus by calling honest hearted people that love truth "recruits"?
It is disingenuous, no downright rude to not address people by their chosen name.
Only God knows the heart and that would include JWs! Do you realize there are a lot of good and honest people that are Jehovah's Witnesses? Do you think it fair to derisively refer to them as "recruits" and imply that theirworship is so lacking we don't have the right to be called Christian? Feel free to correct me if I have misunderstood.
We encounter all the time people that judge that because we aren't trinitarians we don't have the right to be called Christians, that because we don't celebrate Christmas we don't have the right to be called Christians but you seem to be are going so far as to imply because we evangelize we don't have the right to be called Christians.
You say, and I believe you, that you love the name of Jehovah; yet here you imply that someone loses the right to be called by JEHOVAH'S NAME because they believe they should preach: I would never have expected that from you Elijah John, never."Judge not, that ye be not judged" - JESUS CHRIST

Re: The Kingdom of Heaven
Post #12Firstly because we don't know who is a Christian or not until we speak to them. The main method we have chosen is to go from house to house, if someone marks on their door "We are Christians and we don't want anyone trying to talk to us about scripture to knock" we don't. Most homes don't have this however so we approach them.Elijah John wrote: But why attempt to "preach to, and make disciples" of other Christians?
Secondly, you might be surprised that many people (Christian or not) WISH to learn more about what we have to say and we believe they have the right to hear it. If anyone signals they don't want to continue a conversation we stop and leave but we know there are people that exist that presently belong to other denominations that are looking for more, there is nothing Jesus said to prohibit trying to find such ones and giving them a choice.
Further, we understand Jesus instructions is to preach to every human without distinction. Jesus said "what I am saying in secret you shout from the rooftops". If someone literally shouted from a roof everyone would hear, regardless of their theology. The implication being 'just make the message public and God will do the rest', JWs take that to mean preach to everyone and anyone willing to listen to what we have to say. Is that so heinous that we lose the right to be called "Christian"?

Post #14Have you ever met a Jehovah's Witness that have told you that only the JW are going to heaven? Are you implying this is a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS teaching.Elijah John wrote:Peds nurse wrote: So, the way I interpret what is being asked is this, are JW the only people who are going to Heaven?.
Yes, that is the question I meant ....
Please note: For anyone reading my question is NOT an invitation to hate on Jehovah's Witnesses. Thank you.

So, it was a beautiful day in paradise, and Steve was being shown his patch by St Peter. They came by flower meadows, and babbling brooks, and grassy, rolling hills. And then they came to a church, from which came the sound of psalms recited, and lessons read, and hymns sung, and sermons preached. But there was no door to the church, and neither had it windows.
'What church is this?' asked Steve.
'Ah yes', said St Peter. 'This is where the Jehovah's Witnesses have their heaven. There are no windows or doors because they like to think that they alone are saved.'
Best wishes, 2RM.

Your post comes across rather confusing but if I gave the impression there are " flower meadows, and babbling brooks, and grassy, rolling hills" in heaven, I feel I must clarify. Jehovah's Witnesses believe there are flowers and meadows and hills on earth, not in heaven.2ndRateMind wrote: They came by flower meadows, and babbling brooks, and grassy, rolling hills.
Hope that clarifies things,
JW
Here is a picture of flowers growing in a meadow on the earth (our planet)
