Is this a reasonable Christian claim …?
"God" … just whatever humans imagine it to be.

"Scripture" … just whatever humans write it to be.

Yes, we are complicated beings. We are both selfish and kind and even selfless at times. Tho' I am not a believer, one of good things religion provides is something outside oneself to value, to believe in.

Which - arguably - is what the meaning behind the word-string "Without Jesus, I'm Nothing" signifies for those who say it.

Without Jesus, I'm Nothing = 299
Related phrases to The Subject = 299

Theism itself also goes in the other direction... providing something inside of oneself to value as a spiritual extension of what it means to be "Human".

Out of kindness. :)

We care about others losing their grip on reality or thinking they are worthless.
Its nice to know you care

I just don't believe he is god or the rest of the supernatural nonsense. I do not believe he claimed to be God, despite what a delirious Saul-Paul and the author of the gospel of John wrote.
Gotcha.
